C.59 (part three)

I jumped out the car and forgot the kids. I ran back and got them out, put them in the stroller and strolled them up to the house quickly and unlocked the door. I left them in the living room and looked in the kitchen, and bathroom for August. Didn't see him. I jogged up the steps trying not to trip and when I turned the corner to go to my room I saw India creeping out of my room and shutting the door behind her.

"What was you doing?" I asked causing her to jump when she saw me.

"Whew! Kayla you scared the hell out of me, but August is asleep now, he needed to vent to me and I talked to him and he fell asleep." She tried walking away.

"No.. No.. No.. No." I grabbed her by the back of her shirt "What's this?" I pointed to her shirt?"

"What?"

"That white stuff right there."

"Uhm, probably tooth paste.. But I'm about to go cook us all some dinner alright?" She walked away. I walked into the room to see August on the edge of the bed with his hands in his head.

"India said you was sleep." I said causing his head to rise

"Nah, I can't sleep." He stood up and went into the bathroom closing the door behind him and turning on water

"August we need to talk."

He turned the water off and came back out. "About?"

"I went by my mothers house and Camille was there."

"WHAT?! I told you ta stay away from that crazy girl."

"I wasn't fucking by her dumb ass! I waited until she left to get out. When I questioned my mom about how she knew her she said Camille is Chris's step daughter through his ex wife. CHRIS'S ASS WAS HER STEPDAD that she had sex with while she was a teenager and got pregnant! He probably thought by him marrying my mom and her having a teenage daughter that I was going to be like her and have sex with him and when he realized I wasn't like that he tried to rape me."

"That shits crazy as fuck. Don't go back ta ya mama house, I'm not tryin ta tell you what ta do but dont. Meet up with ha somewhea' else."

"I am, trust me.". I told him "I'm going to meet up with her tomorrow. So when I leave I'll bring the kids in here so you can watch them and I'll go on and cook you food before I leave."

"I guess that works."

"Guess my ass. I'll slap the shit out of you." I went to kiss him but he dodged it.

"What was that for?" I asked confused

"I need to brush my teeth. You don't want ta kiss me with my breath smelling like this."

"No it's fine!" I laughed

"No its not. I'll  be back out in a minute and then you can give me all tha love you want." He smiled
