Yooooooo. I haven't updated in six days. :o I didn't think it was that long.

Anyway, this chapter is kind of a failure. Not a lot of Rolijah action for now. But the next chapter will have some stuff. :)

I hope you like it!

Chapter Eighty-Seven

Klaus told us all what happened. The spell had worked. Rebekah was no longer in her body, she was now in the body of a woman named Angelica Barker. We were just waiting for her to wake up and call us. Kol was now on our side, and the only person we really had to worry about was Finn, but Kol would be a powerful asset against him. As for Esther, she was dead. Well, undead. She hadn't realized that Rebekah laced her drink with her blood. Klaus killed Esther in an attempt to stop her spell. It worked. She died with Rebekah's blood inside of her, and she was now in transition as a vampire. She now had a choice. She could either die a slow and painful death, or she could become the one thing that she hates the most: a vampire.

Even though Esther no longer had her power, mine still hadn't returned. I didn't know why, but I had other things to worry about. We needed to contact Rebekah and make sure she was okay, but before that, we needed to help Elijah.

And Klaus had the perfect idea for it.

I smiled at Hayley before I opened the door.

"Camille... This is Hope," Klaus said.

Hayley walked out onto the porch, smiling at Cami's shocked, yet happy expression.

"Oh my god," she said. "You said- I thought she was-"

"The only way to truly protect her was to convince the world of her death," he told her, turning to look at Cami. "I hope you understand, once it's safe for you to leave here, our secret cannot leave with you."

Cami nodded, smiling, then walked up the porch steps to see Hope as she cooed.

"She's perfect!" Cami said, and we all grinned at her.

A few minutes later, Cami, Klaus, Elijah and I were all in the living room. Cami was sitting on the couch beside me, while Klaus came and sat down in a chair across from us. Elijah, however, stayed standing at the window.

"Now that we've entombed our mother, I intend to finish making the city safe for Hope. Which, to start, means dealing with the lingering problem of Finn," Klaus said.

Cami sighed. "Once he figures out what you've done to your mother, he's gonna go off the deep end."

"If he hasn't already," I muttered, taking a sip of the tea I had made for myself.

"And that's exactly why we need to keep you out of harm's way," Klaus said. "Hayley and I will return home and take care of my wayward brother, while Rose and Elijah will remain here with you," he said, looking over at his brother. "He's been experiencing some side effects since his ordeal as our mother's captive. Best he stay, and convalesce," he smirked a little.

Elijah sighed, turning to look at us with an annoyed expression. "A single violent outburst at a filthy roadside cafe, and one never hears the end of it."

Klaus laughed in reply. "Oh, Cami has a way with minds plagued by demons, brother. You two can bond!" Cami looked over at Elijah awkwardly, while Elijah just looked uncomfortable. I knew that he didn't like the idea of having his own personal shrink, and Cami would find it difficult to diagnose one of her friends.
