Camping chaos

The sound of a glowing red fire pops against my ear as I lay on the ground looking at the stars. I hum my mother's song while looking at the star that shines the most out of all of them. " stars are here and lights are gone, rise by sunrise you follow the dawn, even as your memories grow old, you'll be a story always told." I sang. I saw a picture of us cuddling together by the fire when I was little, her cradling me in her arms. The brightest star is me, follow it and your dreams. I heard her soothing voice vibrate in my head. I let a silent tear fall knowing that she was gone. I fell asleep that night, woke up with a pain in my back. I rubbed the sore shoulder blade and turned onto my stomach. I felt a warm burn and then I jumped as I felt it hit me. I screamed in pain and everyone woke up. "Ahh." I said covering my foot with my hand. "What the heck happened?" Hermione asked. "I burnt my foot on the fire." I said with tears in my eyes. "Idiot." Draco muttered. Everyone except for him went wide eyed and they backed up into the camper. I got up and walked closer to him. "What did you just say?" I asked angrily. "I said your an idiot." He said smiling. I tried to walk but my knee snapped as I took a wrong step, I cried holding my knee as everyone flew around me to get help.

The tears slowly stopped. I just sat there blankly watching the fire go out. Draco sat next to me. "Thought you'd need some company." He said. Without thinking in this horrible state of mind I clung to him. He seemed to be the only light, like he was my star in the dark. He wrapped his arms around me and just let me lay there. We were always at each other's throats, but in this moment we were happy to be holding each other, like it felt right to be In his arms. I pulled back and looked at him. I kissed him lightly and he looked down at me when I let go of his lips. "It's like, I'm falling for you." He said. "Well I am actually falling for you." I said. He pushed up my chin slightly and kissed me harder. We heard wood dropping and we broke apart to see Hagrid laughing and Harry and ron appalled. "Well harry looks like ya owe me ten bucks mate. I won me bet!!" Hagrid said. Harry reached into his pocket and pulled out a 10 dollar note. "How?" Ron asked appalled still. "He's cute." I blushed. "She's hot!" He said laughing. "But you guys hate each other!!" Harry pointed out. "Not anymore." I said. "Malfoys a jerk!! How can you look at him and say otherwise! Do you know what he's done to people?" Harry asks yelling. "Yes I do but do you understand what he's going through? He's stressed beyond belief, he's given tasks that he's forced to do, he doesn't want anything of what he's given." I shouted. Hermione was back and said

" I'm going inside it's me ron an Harry's turn." She stated. "Yeah well I hope it burns!" I shout. "Well I hope you swell up like a ballon from bug bites!" Harry shouted back. "Well I hope you snore and can't sleep!" I retort. "WELL I HOPE YOU JOIN YOUR MOTHER!!" Harry says taking it way to far. It felt as if a giant rock just hit me across the face and into the heart. I immediately cried and ran.

"Wow I hope you feel bad because that was way to far. And they say I'm the mean one." Draco said sitting down. Harry was up all night pondering what he'd done. Harry got up in the middle of the night to find Draco thinking next to the fire. He sat down next to him and said "I really screwed it up didn't I?" He asks. "Yes you did." Draco replied. "Well if she comes back, tell her I said sorry." Harry told him. "Okay." With that Harry walked back into the camper and fell asleep.
