Fake finace

"Where are we going?" I ask Draco as he pulls up to a seemingly big mansion.
"Well... I was invited to a party for my ex friends engagement."
"So what does that have to do with me?" I ask groaning.
"Well... I Umm... I may have told them that I have a girlfriend."
I still looked at him with no clue what he was leading on to.
"And I may have said it was someone I have known for a long time." He looked at me and it clicked in my head.
"Oh no! No way! Draco!" I scolded.
"Please y/n! Please do this for me! I can't go in there looking like a fool! Please, just for tonight!"
I looked at him and his eyes begged for me to give in.
"FINE! But you owe me a piece of cake!" I got out of the car and he cheered.
I walked toward the house and he stopped me.
"Ah... we should probably... ya know... act more like... a couple."
He held out his hand and i slowly grabbed it. He intertwined his fingers in mine and he half smiled.
My heart raced as I saw him in a new light.
Maybe I kinda liked him...
We walked in and music was playing just right and his friends walked over to him.
"Hey, Malfoy! Glad you could make it!"
"Wouldn't miss it for the world."
His friend looked over to me and his smile turned upside down.
"Who's this gorgeous woman here?" He smirked at me.
"This is my finance, y/n."
I shook his hand and smiled.
"Lovely to meet you." He replied.
"So finance?" He asked Draco.
"Yeah. We got engaged two weeks ago. Right in the center of town." Draco continued to lie.
"Wow! Sounds romantic!" His ex friend said through gritted teeth.
"Yeah! It was." I spoke up. I looked into Draco's eyes lovingly and leaned into his shoulder.
"I just remember him looking at me as he opened the box. A beautiful beautiful diamond ring."
Draco flicked his wand and a ring appeared on my finger.
"Well let's see it then!" His ex friend said.
I lifted my hand and his eyes went wide.
"Wow looks... expensive."
"Well... it helps to be a Malfoy." Draco chuckled.
"And How did your parents take it?"
"Well my dad took it like all news he gets and my mom was thrilled."
"What... made you want to marry her?"
"She's just so... beautiful. Stunning, she fits me perfectly. She's so smart and funny and she is caring. She's my cushion and she's my rock. I just can't tell her enough of how amazing she is."
"Yes well... I should probably greet more guests. Have a good time!"
He walked off rolling his eyes and I laughed.
"He seems like a jerk. Who would be dumb enough to marry him?" I said to Draco.
"I don't know, princess."
His face blushed right after he said what he did.
"Did you just call me... princess?" I asked hesitantly.
"I... I didn't mean to.... I just..." The music started up at a slow song and it pulled his attention.
"Do you wanna dance?" He asked, avoiding the previous conversation.
He pulled my reluctant body to the floor and put his arms around my waist and I put my arms around his neck.
We danced for a while and I felt his eyes burn into mine.
"I can't hold it back anymore." He sighed, shaking his head and looking down.
"You okay? What's wrong?" I ask.
"I love you." He blurts.
I was taken back.
"What?" I ask again.
"I love you. I have since we met. I just haven't told you because I was scared you wouldn't want to be my friend after."
I looked at him in disbelief as we continued to sway.
"I just can't keep hiding how much I want to kiss you and hold you and tell you how much you mean to me and how much I want to hear you say you love me too. I want to wake up to you and go to sleep to your beautiful voice. I love you."
I just continued to look at him. Wow... I loved him to.
He looked at the floor when I didn't respond. He looked back up to speak.
"And you can leave if you want. I am sorry i dont know made it awkward, I just couldn't keep it away anymore."
I leaned in and kissed him lightly. I pulled away and looked at him.
"I love you too."
He smiled and sighed.
"God you're so beautiful when you smile."
"So what does this make me?"
"Well you're still my fake fiancé, but you're also now my real girlfriend."
"Id love that."
