"Oh my god, I'm not ready! I'm so not prepared!" I paced in my room.
Draco sat on my bed and watched me pace.
"I'm not ready. I can't do this! I haven't studied!"
"You'll be fine babe."
"I will most certainly not be fine!" I respond shaking my head.
"Whatever." He sighs walking out.
"What where are you going?"
"Anywhere but here!"
"I thought you were gonna help me study?"
"Well too late."
He closed the door.
"Curses." I growled in a whispering tone.
I huffed and sat down. I groaned as I opened my textbooks and got out my quill. I sat there for four hours studying, copying, rewriting, and translating. I was not okay.  The sun had gone down about an hour ago and I had to turn on my lamp. I had papers sprawled everywhere, I was a mess.
Crap! Where was my letter!? I rushed and fumbled through my papers. I had to find my application for the teachers assistant job! I started shuffling when my door opened. I looked over to see draco holding a tray of food. "You missed dinner." He said softly.
"Yeah I know." I said quickly.
"Whatcha lookin for?" He asked.
"Something important." I shuffled more rapidly.
"Do you want me to like... help?" He set down the tray on my bed.
"No! I don't want you to help! I want you to just sit there and not say anything!" I shouted.
He softened and shrinked.
I sighed and pushed my hair out of my face as my body filled with regret.
"Look I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell."
"No no. It's fine. You obviously don't want me here so I'll just go." He said his voice cracking.
He walked out before I could say anything.
I flopped down on my bed in regret. I soon pushed away the thought and sat at my desk. I have to study.
I took another two hours to study and get more work in.
Soon a knock on the door was ringing but I had left it. The door opened and Draco walked in. I turned my head and he looked down.
"You look terrible." He sighed.
"Wow. Nice to see you too." I snarked
"Come on, you're getting away from that desk."
He took my hand and walked me out of my room.
"But my books!" I whined.
"You can read them later!" He answered
"But my study guides!"
"You can use those later too."
"But what about my-"
"NO! You're taking a break!"
"It's like midnight what could we possibly do?" I asked.
He turned to look at me and smirked.
"Bake."
"You? Bake?" I giggled.
He huffed and said "I can bake ya know."
"Okay okay." I laughed.
"Get all the stuff!" He said. I ran around the kitchen getting everything. When I laid the last ingredient out I felt something on my head. I looked up and I saw a chefs hat.
"Really?" I said and pointed to it.
"Yep and matching aprons too." He threw me an apron. I laughed and put it on.
We danced and made cookies. We made three dozen and put them all in the oven. Once we were done we laid on the floor and sighed.
"Feel better?" He asked me.
"Yeah totally. I needed a break." I responded.
"I'm glad you had fun."
Once the cookies were done we put them in containers and brought them to my room. I put them on my desk and smiled.
"Well imma go crash." He said yawning.
"Okay goodnight." I said hugging him.
"Night."
After he left I sat down at my desk. I looked down and there was my application. Right in the center of the papers. I pulled out a cookie and looked at it and it reminded me of how much fun I had.
"I don't need this." I said as I opened my trash can and put the application in it.
"It's not my dream. My dream starts with me. And that wasn't me. That was a robot. I start at the heart of everything. And at the heart of everything, is the one I love." I smiled and hopped into bed. I'm done studying for tonight. I have to enjoy myself.
