f/b/f- your favorite breakfast food.
Your pov.
I woke up slowly and felt warmth next to me. I turn to see Draco sleeping with his mouth wide open. He was sprawled out like a starfish and conked out.
I giggled at his disheveled appearance and got out of bed.
I brushed out my hair and stretched. I hate mornings and always will. I sat down for breakfast just as Draco woke up.
"Well good morning bed head!" I threw him a brush and he brushed out his platinum blonde hair.
"Ew... I hate mornings."
I laughed as I spooned f/b/f into my mouth.
"Come sit. I got some toast and eggs for ya if you want them!"
He sat down at the tiny table we had and I got up to get him a plate of food.
I set it in front of him and he cleared his throat.
"Where's my fork?" He asked snobbishly. I lifted a brow and snapped as I got up to get his fork "well I don't know where it is now but it's gonna be up your butt in a minute if you keep up that attitude!"
I poked him in the ribs with his fork and set it down.
"So... we have to go undercover today." I said as I finished my plate.
"Yeah. So I have disguises for us. And I already have our stories and backgrounds."
"Wow you were ready for this, weren't you?"
"Yeah." He said slightly blushing.
"Okay whatcha got for me?"
"So, we are a couple and we were 'just camping' once we find them. Then we attack when they are off guard."
"Got it."
We had walked out later that day.
Our cloaks covered our bodies and wands.
Soon we heard movement.
I glanced and it was them.
I hid behind Draco slightly trying to stay in character.
"Ah! Travelers! Good!" Draco said getting the attention of the two.
"Could you possibly spare a moment? We were just out camping and seem to have lost our way. Could you possibly lead us back?" Draco reeled in.
Draco opened a map and the man pointed directions for him. I slowly eased my wand out of my pocket.
I slightly flicked it and the woman was sent through the air.
I backed up in shock, trying to pretend I didn't know what was going on.
"Oh my heavens!" Draco acted.
The man looked at us and within seconds, knew what we were here for.
"You can't catch us!"
The man ran and the woman skidded up to his pace.
"Run!" He shouted to her.
We chased after them, missing shots at them.
Soon Draco has struck a tree and it tumbled down. It blocked off the two and the turned back to us.
"Prepare to say goodbye to freedom." Draco smirked.
"Oh sweetie. We know how to keep saying hello." The woman said. She struck me with her wand and I cringed as the electricity ran through my arm.
Draco ran to me and knelt down to my shocked body.
"Hey hey, you okay?!"
"Go after them!" I cried out.
"What?"
"Just go get them!"
He ran off and I sat there trying to get the pain to go away.
I sat there all day. I don't know why I was injured so badly.
I heard footsteps and I held out my wand as I sat on the ground.
"Hey, it's just me." Draco's voice echoed in the moonlight.
"Did you get them?!" I asked eagerly.
"Yeah. I got them."
I smiled at the victory.
I sighed in content and he sat down next to me.
"How's it doin?" He asked pointing to my arm that was cradled against me.
I pulled up my sleeve and tree like scars scattered across my arm.
"Wow. That looks...painful."He spit out.
"Wow real helpful here Draco." I rolled my eyes.
"Sorry I just... I don't know what to say. How can I help you?"
"Well I am pretty tired and I don't want to walk back to camp sooooo...."
He groaned because he knew what I wanted. He lifted me up and I giggled as he started walking.
"I just want you to know, I hate you with all of my heart." He growled.
I just rested my head on his chest and waited till we got back to camp.
He set me down and I walked into our tent. I scratched my head as I got into bed, tired from the days events.
Draco got in soon after, my back was turned until I felt the dip.
I turned to him and let my injured arm rest out in between us.
"You do well on these missions." He complimented.
"Thanks, you're not so bad yourself." I smirked.
"Why did you tell me to leave you?" He asked suddenly.
I shook my head.
"Because I knew that catching them is more important." I shrugged.
"More important then your life?" He asked appalled.
"More important." I reclaimed.
"But you're so important." He claimed.
I was kind of caught off guard when he said that.
"What do you mean by that?"
"Well, you're important to the organisation. Your boss seems pretty keen as well." Draco mumbled the last part.
"Philip?? God no! He's about as smart as a rock. I'd never date him."
Draco chuckled at my insult and looked at my arm.
He ran his fingers lightly around the scars and then put his hand in mine.
My heart fluttered.
"What are you doing?" I ask.
He looked up at me, a piece of blonde hair falling in between his eyes.
"You're also important to me."
"Draco we hated each other less then 48 hours ago and now you're gonna confess your undying love to me?"
"I'm not saying I love you. I'm saying that maybe, just maybe, I'd want to try."
"Draco..." I started, huffing at the loss for a response "I just... i dont know."
"Why not?" He knitted his eyebrows together.
"Because you're you and I'm... me. We don't exactly get along."
"I think we got along fine the past two days."
"I tolerated you." I snarked.
"You seemed to not care around me. I'd call that more the tolerance."
God why did he have to be so damn good?
"Fine Draco. I'll try, I'll let us try, but if it goes wrong, I'm not gonna feel bad or feel mushy because I broke your little snaky heart."
"Deal." He smiled.
He curled up into me and traced my scar.
"Goodnight Draco."
"Goodnight y/n."
