Shop worker pt 1

I was cleaning counters when Lucius and his son walked in.
"Good morning sir."
"Hmph." He scoffed.
On the inside I was furious but I just kept a smile and kindness.
"What would you like today?" I asked.
"The usual and get some for the brat too. He can get what he wants."
Glad you're SO gracious dickwad. I thought. I grabbed him his coffee and asked Draco what he wanted.
"Uh just a hot chocolate is fine." He half smiled.
"Coming right up." I made their drinks and Lucius paid.
"Good day." He said half jerkishly and half serious.
He walked out and the bell clanged.
"What an absolute jerk." I say wiping the counters angrily.
"I know and his son is just as bad!" My best friend said.
"Really? I thought he was kinda nice." I said smiling to myself.
"Oh no. You don't! You can't!" I looked at her.
"What?" I asked.
"No I know that Face! You don't! Please say you don't!"
"I... I don't." I said half confidently, more over trying to make myself change.
"You're so gross! You can't like him!" She said.
"Why not?" I asked putting the cupcakes in the display case.
"Because thats like the worst possible person to like... ever!! His dads an asshole, his mom is like never around and him? He's not attractive and he's a total jerk!"
"No he's not! He's nice! At least to me! He said hi to me in class and he is really nice when he comes in!"
"Well that's just because he's like, insane so." She was completely and totally not into the idea of me liking him.
I just rolled my eyes and closed up shop and went off to school.
