"so when are you giving me a treat then unnie?" Minji, your younger sister saw the test as you were too afraid to find out the result yourself.
"Mwo? Jinja?" You uncovered your face and ran to her only to snatch away the test to see that it showed two lines meaning it's positive.

You gulp and then sigh. Your sis is quick to see the sudden state of discomfort in you and she pulls you in for a hug, "shhh don't worry unnie it's not gonna be like last time" she pats your back
"Hmm" you bite your lip and withdraw from the hug. You take a good look at the pregnancy test in your hands, you were happy that it was positive, you really were and you're sure your darling husband would be on cloud 9 too but deep down something was just pushing you to go back to the memory lane and just catastrophise the whole situation because of what had happened last time you got preggers.

*Flashback*
"Oppa!! Come here quick!!" You call out for your hubby who was cooking dinner.
"Yeobo! What happened?? Are you okay??" He gets frightened thinking that something happened to you.
"Aigo ani.... Just come here" you shift yourself comfortably on the couch for him to get seated besides you.
"You're scaring me jeongmal" he says while slowly sitting next to you.
You grab his hand and place it right on top of your belly.
Jin's face brightens up as soon as he feels the baby's first kick, "ommo!"

He chuckles.
"Did you feel it?" You ask him
"Yes.... It's so... ai.. shh... So surreal yeobo. I can't believe this" he says while still expecting another kick.

He leans in closer to your belly, "aigi-ya!! This is your appa talking. Please stay healthy and kick more often, arraseo?
You slap his arm, "aah it hurts when it kicks!"
"Oh then kick but don't hurt eomma!" He kisses your belly sweetly earning a giggle from you.
"Yeobo" you sniff as you smell something burning, "doesn't it smells.... Aigoooooo you burnt the food!!!!" You say while opening your eyes wide and looking in the direction of the kitchen
"Fuck!!" He quickly gets up and cleans up the mess.
He ended up taking you out for dinner instead.

"Aaah! The food was so good, no?" You ask Jin while he was driving you two back home
"Yup we should come here more often. I never thought this new restaurant would be this good" he says while driving
"Hmm" you hum while looking out at the window

Jin catches up speed as he sees the road empty but out of nowhere an SUV bumps into your car.
All you remember was Jin and the suv guy abusing one another and your vision getting blurry.

You wake up to see yourself in a different surrounding, you look hastily everywhere and see your hubby sitting besides you on a HOSPITAL bed!?!?!
"Jin! Why are we here" you start getting up but feel an uneasy pain in your abdomen making you whimper
"Honey don't stress yourself please" he lays you down while caressing where it pains

Your heartbeat gets faster as you remember about the accident, "Jin"
He looks at you, "why are we here...."
Jin sniffs and pecks your forehead unable to tell you the tragic truth but the doctor enters in, saving him from telling you the news himself
"Aah Mrs Kim, you're finally up" she smiles, "I've checked your vitals and you're doing about fine now, you'll be able discharge by this afternoon"

"Okay and umm how's our baby doing?"
The doc looks at Jin and then back at you," you didn't tell her?" Jin shakes his head
"You lost the baby Mrs Kim, we tried saving but we're sorry"

It seemed like your whole world was taken away from you. You, for once, forgot how to breath, jin patted your back, "yeobo please calm do..."
"Calm down??" You finally started crying, "calm down Jin?? We lost our baby and you expect me to fucking calm down!?!" You sobbed like a mess
Jin just stood there and couldn't help but cry along as well,
"I'm sorry" he whispers

End of flashback

"Earth to unnie" minji snaps her fingers in front of your face and she wipes the stray tears on your face
"Now stop worrying so much unnie!! That happened 2 years ago" she squeezes your shoulders, "you have to let it slip"
You just nod.
"Anyway it's getting late I'm going and take care!!" She says
"Do you want me to drop you?" You ask concerned
"No I'm good. Bye!!"

Night time

You take the pregnancy test and tap your toes and bite your fingers unable to get the courage to face Jin.
You pace around the bathroom when you hear a knock,
"yeobo how long are you gonna poop. Let me in I have to brush"

You take a sigh and unlock the door, "Jin..." Your voice cracks making Jin worried
"What's up y/n?"
You hug him, "I'm pregnant" you cry making his sweatshirt wet with your tears. He gets surprised and wanted to scream his lungs out of happiness but looking at your state he controls.
He headpats you and kisses your hair, "it's something to celebrate y/n-ah and not to mourn about!"
You look at him, "I'm scared" you pout and he kisses you, "no yeobo not this time, I'll make sure to treat you two like treasure. Mark my words"
"You always do but...." You were cut off when he suddenly picks you up and places you in bed, "hush!! No talking now. Sleep."
"Aye aye captain" you smile.
