Cold: Namjoon 🌹

"joonie can you please boil me some water to drink?" You lay back on bed and order you husband
"Right away miss" he hurriedly brings you a glass of warm water

"Here you go" he helps you sit up and hands you the glass over, "you do realize you've been having cold since last 2 days, don't you think we should go to the doctor? and besides, it's only a few days left before we go to that family trip my eomma planned for...."

"Ah don't worry it'll go.... It's the beginning of winter season, catching cold due to sudden change in the climate is only natural. Don't worry" you gulp down the warm water and rest again.
Namjoon sits next to you on bed and caress your head, he presses his hand gently on your forehead, "there isn't any temperature thankfully"
"Yup thats why I said *cough* don't *cough* worry"
"Ah! Jagi you're acting like a granny" he pouts, "how can I not worry"
You laugh at his sarcastic remark, "making fun now, are we *cough cough*"
"Ani...." He pouts, "you know I'm so thrilled about the trip!" He says with enthusiasm
"I know, right" you intervene your fingers with his, "you know I was thinking if we should visit your sister when we go.... I mean it's been a long time since I last saw her and her house is on the way where we are going"
"Ah good idea.... maybe we can ask her to tag along"
"If that's not a problem to her egoist husband" you chuckle
"Yeah yeah... him of course" he chuckles along

"Anyway yeobo can you please massage my head? It's aching really bad" you hold the anterior part of your head, firmly and press it as it begins aching more

"Oh no.... Yeah well I will....... Here" he crawls more closer to you, "rest your head on my laps" he holds your shoulders and helps you lay down comfortably on his laps.
He begins massaging you with his warms hands. No wonder it was relaxing you when his hands firmly pressed against the sore region.

"Jo... joonie?" You wake up from the deep slumber you had after your lovely husband gave you a soothing massage.
You look around with your still heavy eyes but don't see him in your bedroom.
You grunt and get up as you feel the urge to walk around a little because all day long you've done nothing but be a couch potato instead, well you couldn't help but blame the darn cold you caught because of the weather.

As soon as you get up and begin to fold the duvet, your legs suddenly feel weak and your eyes start getting a bit heavy, you blink a few times and manage to get yourself back on tracks, "grhh I hate cold *sniff*"

"Joonie!?!" You call out for him once more but still get no reply in return.....
You walk downstairs to check on your hubby and you find him peacefully relaxing on the couch, with his Ryan bear plushy in hand, almost drowsy. Aww.

You get closer and lean to peck his head
"Ah jagiya, you're awake? Are you feeling any better now?" He slowly gets up
"Ah well I am not sure..... I am feeling a bit heavy plus my stomach seems to be acting up too ..."

"It's high time now we should seek a doc,y/n..."
"Joon I'll be fine, trust me"
"See I don't want to wipe your runny nose throughout the trip with my eomma nagging me for not taking proper care of you so...."
"Okay fineeee" you whine, "I'll go get ready" you move back upstairs to change

"Please don't....." You let out a tear as the nurse starts to shake the glassy syringe, "yeobo ask her to stop" you dug your nails through namjoon's palm as the nurse begins to sterilize your arm.
"Shh yeobo she's only taking your blood sample, no biggie. It will only sting as though an ant bit you" he rubs your back soothingly.
You glare at him with a horrific look, "an ant? Really? I've never been bit before by an ANT! so please come up with something better"
He gives you a sorry look

"Okay so on a count of 3 2 and..." She takes up the blood into the injection, "1 and done" she smile
your face is covered up with warm tears
"Aigoo y/n-ah it's done babe" namjoon hugs you sideways and gives a weak smile to the nurse
"Okay so you two wait outside in the reception hall. We'll call you soon as the urine and blood sample have been tested" she bows down and moves into the testing room.

"Arghhh I have to prepare dinner too. We don't have veggies we'll have to buy on our way back home" you say while playing with his fingers
"Ah don't worry about that, we'll just have dinner at the restaurant" he smiles

"Mr and Mrs Kim...." The nurse announces from the doctor's room, "it's your turn"
"Ah ye" you both head towards the doctor's room

"Ah Mrs Kim the nurse told me how bad you were crying earlier because of the blood sampling test..." She smiles while writing down your prescription, "well I guess you're gonna cry again except it'll be tears of joy"
You both look at her confused, "what do you mean?" You ask
"Congratulations, you're pregnant" the doctor says smiling brightly

"Wh...what?" You cover your mouth and look at joon who was almost as much shocked as you
"R...really?" You ask and the doctor nods, "I'm writing down some meds for you to take to let the cold get away"
A smile creeps on your face and you look at namjoon who's also staring you with the brightest smile ever
"But wait" namjoon looks at the doc, "are medicines even healthy for her?" He continues
"Ah well I'd strongly recommend she doesn't dwell on them"
He nods and holds your hands firmly

"Oh and umm doctor lee, we'll be out on a family trip in a few days, will that be fine with me?"
"Oh sure.... Have you been having morning sickness lately?" She asks
"No.... Not really just the cold"
"Ah I see, well that's alright, just make sure to not stress yourself and concentrate on your meals, rest will be great" she smiles
"Thank you so much" you both get up and head outside

"Jagiya!!" Namjoon hugs you tightly outside the hospital
"Jo..joon! People are watching!" You say embarrassed
"Who cares" he looks at you, "I'm so damn happy! So bringing you to the hospital was a good option then" he laughs
"Haha yes of course...."
