Dear Future Husband,

I am writing to you in a timeless red notebook from my bedroom desk in beautiful Seattle.

I have tucked away the white notebook in a box under my bed with your name on it, and the next person to open it will be you, my husband.

In the beginning, the purpose was-- I'm not going to lie-- kind of for me. Yes, these are for you, but writing every day was also for me and my mental health and my insatiable desire to know you. Now, this is for us.

When you read these, it will allow both of us to grow in understanding of each other and give you a little insight on the crazy journey I went through to get to you. There are things I'm not proud of, and things that I wish you could've witnessed, with many more to come.

So I hope this journey through my weird and awkward teenage years will help us achieve an incredible lifelong journey together, even if you aren't here for the former.

I love you and I will see you soon.

Xoxo, Alina
