Dear Future Husband,
Big semi finals for boys lacrosse! It is my first year actually following one of our teams (except field hockey) on this journey and it's been so crazy watching this team take victory after victory. I know everyone's number and position and how much playing time they usually get and could be a sports announcer at this point. It's been exciting.
Today's game is in Tacoma, their farthest game yet, which means they're getting closer and closer to the championship.
I'm currently writing to you in between the first and second quarters and just thought I should update you on the situation (I also am, like, the only one from our school here and very bored). Anyway, Grant has played well and so has everyone else and it's tied one to one, but there is no doubt in my mind that we can pull out the win. This team had a nice burst of energy in the beginning, but I can already tell they're going to tire out. Our guys were built to last.
Second quarter is starting right now so I should probably go, but Grant already has the ball! I hope there are recruiters here today, he is going to get snatched up by some very good schools if he keeps this up all the way through
