You hummed to yourself as you folded another freshly cleaned shirt, lost in your own little world as you work. You jumped a little when somebody threw their arm around your shoulder, you knew that it was Sean because it was something that he usually did to annoy you.

"Alright, darlin', who is the boy who is making you so happy?" Sean asked with a huge smile on his face, obviously trying to tease you.

"Boy? There's no boy" you gave him a confused look before shaking your head and pushing his arm off of your shoulders.

"Sure there isn't...what's his name?" he pushed, knowing that you were lying to him.

"Why does it have to be a boy that makes me happy?" you asked as you placed the folded shirt down and turned to him, raising an eyebrow. Couldn't you just be happy about something else?

"There is only one thing that can put a smile like that on your face and that's a boy. You're damn right giddy" Sean pointed out, his knowing smile still on his face.

"Whatever" you muttered, returning your attention back to your work.

"So...there is a boy?" Sean asked as he moved to stand right beside you, nudging your shoulder with his own.

"Yes, okay? Yes, there is a boy" you sighed, throwing the new shirt down on the table and turning to the Irishman. You figured that it would be easier to just tell him, he might actually lave you alone then.

"What's his name?" he asked, you knew that he was about to interrogate you about this now.

"None of your business" you rolled your eyes, crossing your arms over your chest.

"He ain't one of us, is he?" Sean asked, his eyes suddenly going wide as he looked around the camp, trying to figure out which one you were dating.

"No! He's not a member of the gang" you laughed as you grabbed Sean's arm, making him return his attention to you.

"But he is good to you, right?" he looked down at you expectantly and you smiled, it was nice to know that Sean and the rest of the gang cared about you so much.

"Very" you nodded with a smile, he was more than good to you.

"Good, that's what matters. Don't tell your brother, he's real protective of you" Sean warned you, making you laugh.

"Ah, Arthur wouldn't hurt Archie, he's a good and honest man" you assured him. You knew that your brother could be protective but you also knew that he respected your decisions and that he would see that Archie meant no harm to you.

"Archie?" Sean asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Crap..." you cursed when you realised that you had accidentally given up his name.

"So...this 'Archie'...you say he is honest?" he asked, wanting to know more about the man you were seeing.

"Yeah, he is a farmhand. He works on his father's farm, they are good people" you told him, deciding there was no harm in it since you had already told him Archie's name.

"You've met the family?" Sean asked yet another question, he was lucky that you liked him because he could sometimes drive you insane.

"Will you be quiet" you shushed him when you noticed his voice getting louder, it was kinda cute that he was getting a little excited about this. "And yes, I have, only once" you nodded. It was still relatively early stages in your relationship but you had met his parents once, they seemed like good people.
