It was a hot night of August 1986, Lee and Alexander were watching a horror movie at her place. When the serial killer was about to knock on the victims door, the bell rang. Lee and Alexander screamed in fear.

Lee got up and walked to the door. Through the little hole on it, she could spot a man with blonde hair laying against the door. She opened.

Roger!

Hi Lee! He responded. His breath smelled like alcohol.

What are you doing here? It's the middle of the night!

Lee? Is everything okay? Alexander got to the door. Mate, are you okay?

Alexander, help me drag him to the couch!

With difficulty, both dragged Roger to the sofa.

What happened? You smell! Lee pinched her nose.

My life is shit right now, I don't know what to do... Can we talk?

Imma get going... See you tomorrow Lee! Bye Roger! Alexander grabbed his coat and left.

I spoiled your night with your boyfriend... I'm sorry! Roger mumbled.

You didn't spoiled anything, and Alexander is not my boyfriend!

Lee got up and went to the kitchen and got back with a bucket and a bottle of water.

Sit down and tell me what's going on!

You were right Lee!

About what? Lee said while helping him sit straight.

Freddie's sick...

Lee stopped.

With what?

Some virus... The doctor said that there is no cure!

Oh no... Lee paced around the living room.

Freddie told us today... He said he didn't want us to cry for him and I could control me around him but when I got home... I couldn't stop myself!

Why didn't you talked to Dominique?

We are separated... I live alone now...

I'm so sorry Roger... She looks at him with care.

Don't be! It was mutual... It's the better for the kids...

Roger drank the water.

I feel so alone... My relationship with Dom turned toxic and now Freddie is sick! My best friend! I can't do nothing to help him... I have to watch him die!

Roger broke down in tears, so Lee hugged him. They haven't been that close since they broke up in '79.

We are supposed to grow old together... Lee cried along with Roger.

Lee broke the hug when she started to feel comfortable in his arms.

We need to be strong for Freddie! He will fight this thing and would be here for a long time!

Roger cleaned his tears and smiled.

I've missed you so much...
