Virgil didn't understand how he had gotten outside. He didn't remember much. It was all a haze for him. He was pain and he was scared. That's about all he knew. Sitting there all curled up in the ally, his thoughts never seemed to stop spiraling. He couldn't breathe but... He couldn't stay there either.

Virgil pushed himself up off the ground with a groan from how damaged his body was. He swayed as he walked unable to stop the world from spinning. He just had to get home. It was going to be a very long night.

By the time Virgil managed to walk through his doors, he was about ready to drop. He locked his door up behind him and carried his way up the stairs. He didn't even bother washing up or anything. He was about to drop.

He collapsed onto his bed with a whimper as he struggled to try and pull the blanket over him. Eventually, he just gave up and laid there shivering in the cold. It served him right. Sure he didn't remember what happened. His mind had blocked it all out. But one thing he did know... He didn't just randomly get hurt like this. The black pulled him under faster than ever.

"How am I supposed to help you if you run off?" Roman fazed into existence the moment he knew Virgil was fast asleep. "Sure the deal wasn't about that exactly but... I am supposed to care for you, aren't I? I'm supposed to care for you, keep you safe and happy, and fix your problems so you never have to worry. It's not even the first night and your already making this difficult." Roman sighed with a small smile as he slowly walked over to the other knowing there was no way Virgil would wake up until morning, not with all those injuries.

"It's ok. I knew what I was getting into when making a deal like that with someone so... afraid. At least let me help you now..." Now that you aren't awake to run off again, anyway. Roman walked out to grab a bowl of hot water and a washcloth only to freeze up noticing the lack of sound that filled the halls. Sure, He's been locked up for centuries, unable to interact or see the world, save for wherever his planchette had been, but something told him something was off. Virgil was just a boy or well... maybe not but... he was still in school... so why wasn't Roman hearing any other people in this house. Was Virgil seriously living alone? Roman sighed sadly as he quickly grabbed what he needed and returned to the sleeping boy.

"I won't do anything... to bad tonight. I may be a demon but unlike some of my kind, I've actually learned my lessons." Roman smiled softly as he soaked the cloth in the warm water before rising it and using it to wash the blood and as much alcohol off the boy as he could. "I really should change you out of these clothes but... That might be going to far. Your not even awake right now." Roman gently rubbed and dabbed away the red that littered the boy's face as he took the time to look over his contracted charge. He couldn't help but smile. "I must say... I could've been stuck with a worse-looking human. I bet you'd look even better when all these injuries heal."

"Yeah, I know... I'm flirting with a passed out charge the first night of the deal. Give me a break. I've been stuck in the damn planchette for centuries." Roman's eyes narrowed as he finally finished and stepped back. His hand went to the pointer piece he had turned into a necklace and he sighed. He had struck it enough to look like a pendant than an actual pointer after he had cleaned it. He hated it. It was his prison. He wanted to burn it and never see it again but... he couldn't part with it. Even as angry as he was, it was still all he's none for centuries. At least this way he knows it can't ever be used against him again. "Sleep well, Virgil. Don't you worry about a thing. Come tomorrow things will already be turning around for you."

"But before I go... I should help with one more thing." Roman frowned as he looked out the door. He gently pulled the blanket out from under the boy pulling it over Virgil's shoulders as he brushed his hair back. "Just leave it all to me. It's my job now, after all."

"Ok then..." Roman muttered as he carefully closed the door behind him. "First things first, finish helping here and then... Figure out some shit for yourself." Roman's eyes gleamed with a smirk as he laughed and set to work. "Maybe I can finally call up that favor. It may have been centuries but... that family still owes me a lot."

The next morning Virgil woke up to his alarm going of making him frown in confused anger. He didn't remember ever setting last night. To be honest he doesn't really ever set it. He's never needed to, he hardly slept anyway so why bother. Virgil groaned at how sore his body was as he forced himself to get up. He could smell the alcohol on him and he wanted to vomit. He was going to have to clean his sheets too.

He pushed himself into the shower only to have to sit down and take a breath as the room spun around him. It was going to be a slow morning, but he wasn't about to let those assholes fuck it up. However, at the same time he was not ready for the day. He just wanted to curl back up on the bed and sleep forever. Sleep until the world turned to dust... but one simple reality kept that from happening.

"Fuck, I hate school so much."

I keep forgetting to post this. Here's a pic I did of Roman lolz (don't ask why he's shirtless he just is hahaha)
