Heaven's POV

After Raelynn left I stayed in the locker room for a bit.

I sat on the bench in the middle of the room and looked at all the lockers and everything and admired all the little details.

The football locker room was much smaller and different than the volleyball one.

It had an older look to it, kinda rustic and I liked it. I've always loved a nice suburban home with rustic interior.

There was a knock at the door.

"Uh you riding with me home?" Evan asked.

"Yes!" I said jumping up and grabbing my bags.

I turned off the light before walking out.

"Leggo." He said.

As we walked outside and walked to his car, we got in.

"So how was the first practice?" Evan asked me as we pulled out the school parking lot.

"Eh. It wasn't as challenging as I though." I shrugged.

"Don't tell coach that." Evan said chuckling.

I chuckled. "I'm aware. Never tell any coach that."

"Ever. Never ever." Evan added.

"I know from experience." I said, fake sniffling at the memory.

He laughed. "I know from experience too."

Me and Evan used to always say the first thing that came to mind even if it was a bit harsh but we learned to keep our mouths shut about certain things.

We pulled up at our house and we went inside.

"Hey Aspyn." I said when in saw her sitting at the dinning table doing her homework.

"Hey, how was football?" She asked.

"Uh hold on." I said.

I went upstairs and put my bags down and changed:

I grabbed my homework and went back downstairs and sat next to Aspyn and started doing my homework with her

"Is Raelynn coming here to do the project?" She asked.

"Not today." I answered.

"Good because I want to talk to you." She said.

"Okay?" I said.

"Not now, after dinner." She said.

I nodded.

Mom and dad came inside from the backyard.

"Hey how was football?" Mom asked.

"Fun." I answered.

"That's good, did you get a position yet?" Dad asked.
