These days homework and online class will be the death of me.....

Anyhow, I'm still stuck. But let's proceed slowly and let the plot drift you away from my main goal and enjoy the sweet illusion created out of the storm and craziness of my messed up brain.....

That sounds very disturbing somehow.

.......ugh....

For the first time in a like, never, Shao Long felt himself being filled by rationality as he began thinking the pros and cons of being friends with the prince of America, the blondie that was sitting beside him in bed. That's right, in bed. Leaning against the bed rest, they continued to talk more than they initially intended. Their topic diverted from one to another in the blink of an eye, and it didn't even feel wrong. Charles ended up enjoying it more than he thought he would, and this form of rest, he thought, felt better than sleeping like a dead man in his own room. Here, the company of Shao Long, whom he never thought would be this close to him, felt right.

It was no joke that the Chinese people talk a lot, and if you are also indulged, you also will end up talking a lot. Their conversation are often twisted wth hidden meaning, but for a person like Charles, such thing is not a problem to decipher. If anything, he felt like talking with a professional intellectual.

By the time lunch break was supposed to finish, Charles and Shao Long felt like they've known each other for years.

Shao Long also felt that it was surprisingly easier than he thought. At first, he had some doubts about letting Charles sit on the bed with him, but it's first step. For the very first time, he began thinking about their relationship.

Charles caused him to move away from America, viralled a wrong thing about him, and indirectly caused his loss in monopoly, but all of the act was initiated by himself. He got into a fight, he viralled a misunderstanding, and......well..... monopolized the game.

But when he went missing, Charles actually wasted his brain cells to find him even when he didn't like Shao Long in the first place. Oh, and look. They got along just fine if Shao Long didn't do anything crazy like the last three times. Even when he wasn't really in the best state of mind, he was at fault for all the things he had done, being rash, greedy, over confident.

But if he didn't attack, he won't be attacked by Charles. If they were friends, not only will he not attack Shao Long, Charles would even help him, no?

Why waste his time on a silly thing like vengeance? What a stupid thing to do...

His time in the world is limited, so as long as he live, it would be better to live a life without torture anymore. Not make new troubles. If he wanted to go on all out, what could be done? In a few months, after his death, the company he and Shao Jun had been working on will be passed to Shao Jun, and he can finally move out of the mansion and live on his own. He will cut ties with their father and depend on himself and Xueyang. That was his preparation for his death. The most he could do was give Shao Jun a better life after his death, a chance to run away from Xi Shen Ko.

And right now, all he could do was avoid all other problem facing him. If, however, he was not able to do so, there will be people helping him, right?

Previously, he was alone, facing all the difficulties in his life.

Now, he had Shao Jun, Xueyang, Principle Evan, Godfreg, Alex, and all the other princes.

And the most capable of them all would be Charles.

Shao Long glanced at the American prince beside him and had a thought. Turns out, if he forgot about his past, it wouldn't be that bad, right? If Charles was there with him, we would protect him, right?
