---Please read the following it is exceptionally important!!!---

During this chapter Daisy says a word that I don't like to use. I only use this word because it is literally directly quoted from the decade it happened in. So it is meant as a historical reference, and nothing more. Please understand that. I don't intend it as any kind of racial slur!! After the paragraph where Tae responds to her Daisy states how she feels about people. Although they are Daisy's words they also properly represent and express how I feel about people in general. So, please focus on that statement and rejoice in how much our world has changed since the decade people said things like that freely without remorse.

I wake up to the soft whisper of my name on one of my loved ones lips. It takes me a few minutes to blink myself awake, but once I do, I become immediately aware that this Saturday is not going to be comparable to any of the previous ones that I would consider a 'normal' one for the eight of us. It's barely eight in the morning and all seven of my soulmates are standing around my bed in a half circle. Jin hovers in front of the door holding a tray, and when he draws closer and sets it down in front of me I am surprised to see the same apple butterscotch pancakes that I have recently grown quite addicted to along with a side of three strips of crispy bacon.

"What is this all about?" I don't look up because honestly I don't want to direct the question at anyone specific

"What is this all about?" I don't look up because honestly I don't want to direct the question at anyone specific. I kind of hope whoever planned this occasion out will simply speak up on their own.

"What, Petal? We can't treat our soulmate to breakfast in bed once in a while?" There's a strange hitch in Hobi's voice, which definitely alerts me that he isn't being completely honest.

They have to be up to something. "I thought we all agreed that Saturday would be the day we all slept in." Accurate, but I still don't usually manage to sleep past 8:30 at the latest myself. I can still technically consider sleeping until that time though 'sleeping in' for me. My soulmates usually don't get up until at least 9:30, at the earliest, on Saturdays. The 95s sometimes don't even roll out of bed until 11 am or noon.
