We got back to the house around two in the afternoon, and even though our date was officially over I hadn't wanted my time with Joon to end. So, instead I basically stayed by his side the remainder of the night. When we first got home we found everyone else in or beside the pool so we went and joined them for a couple hours. I even made sure to exercise by doing my laps and Joon was my partner this time. Although, Jk still insisted he join also. Per normal my bunny had considered it a race instead of simple laps for exercise and plowed ahead of our methodical pace. After those couple of hours spent in the pool, we decided none of us really wanted to cook so we ordered takeout again. Pretty soon I would have sampled the entire menu from the Korean fried chicken restaurant (not that I was complaining). I wasn't surprised it was brought to us by the same delivery girl. When I saw her over the security guard's shoulder I smiled and waved. She didn't return the gesture completely but she almost smiled. Which made me feel somewhat victorious for that moment.
Joon kissed me on the forehead after we ate. "I have some stuff to prepare for tomorrow. So, while I really want to keep spending time with you, Baby. I should probably go and focus on doing that."
I nod. "I know you have to get up early, but did you want to come to my room after and spend the night with me?" I had genuinely been debating bringing this up since before our actual date had ended. But, I hadn't been certain about it at first. I didn't necessarily want all my dates to follow the same pattern, but at the same time I really didn't want to just say goodnight at my door. I had told him I wanted to take it slow, but I'm not so certain I want that for myself any more. I had honestly just wanted to know him better, and after today I felt I truly had.
"I tell you what. I'll go work on what I have to do. You go start studying your Korean lessons. When I'm done I'll bring back a snack we can share before bed." I'm not sure I need a snack after eating so well today, but I still find myself nodding regardless.
After a couple hours have passed I feel my brain has been overloaded with information. The first program that Joon recommended is helping a lot, but I continue to push myself by going over each lesson at least three times before moving on to the next. Once I eventually do finish the material from the first program I plan on moving on to the second, more difficult, program. In a few moments there is a knock on the door. "Come in." I respond in Korean.
He smiles proudly at me but doesn't make a comment regarding my Korean. That's when I take in the small container of ice cream in his hand. Well, that's definitely a snack I will never turn away. I can't make out the flavor though with the way he is holding it in his hand since the label is cupped directly against his palm. "What flavor is that?"
"Well, obviously it's not your favorite flavor of ice cream." He answers while his eyes hedge away from mine. I'm not quite sure what he is dodging by attempting to look away, but I'm not overly concerned when there is ice cream about to melt away. "There is this one ice cream snack that both Jimin and I have had recently. The flavor was Asian Pear." He turned the container to show the picture on the front. "This is Ginger Asian Pear flavored ice cream."
