Candace: I was going to ask you how the trip was going, but I just realized that it is afternoon there. You should be out enjoying yourself. Also, there is someone knocking on the door so I have to go anyway. I'll talk with you later.
Candace doesn't take a moment to stop and wait for Daisy's response. Instead before checking the door she checks to see how Joshua is doing. The sweet blonde haired toddler once again had woken up way earlier than she appreciated, but at least his strange tendency to wake up at five in the morning had given her the opportunity to respond back to Daisy as promptly as possible. Once she sees that he is currently enamored with Paw Patrol she goes to the door and checks the peephole. Unfortunately she can't see anything but pitch black on the other side so when another impatient knock raps against the wood she asks who it is.
"I'm Dr. Bart Jackson. I'm here to see Ms. Rebecca Baxter."
Candace arches an eyebrow. "I'm sorry if I am skeptical Dr. Jackson, but it's 6:30 in the morning, and I don't recognize your name from the ones that I took Rebecca to see in the past few months since I moved in to help her out."
She hears an unprofessional sigh from the otherside of the door before he announces. "That's because I work for the CDC."
Her curiosity and concern gets the better of her and she opens the door to find a team of people in hazmat suits. The first person in the line comes up to her and asks. "You are?"

"Candace Dorsey. I've been helping Rebecca take care of her son while she has been sick."
She only manages to catch the concern briefly flash over his face before he asks his next question. "And where can we find her?"
She hesitates for a brief moment, but knows that hesitation is only delaying the inevitable. They would find her in a matter of moments once they started searching the apartment anyway. "She's in her bedroom. It's the last door on the left." Dr. Jackson stays by Candace's side while the rest of his team pull a gurney in the room from the hallway.
