'fucking moron' Sally tied jaylahs hair then walked around to look "how is my hair looking?" "Beautiful. Just like a princess" "thank you very much" Sally chuckled as she walked off. Kalem walked out with a plate of toast and a coffee. As he sat down next to jaylah, he put a slice on her plate "thank you" "welcome princess" jaylah internally grinned.
Both of them eating in silence, Elliot held eye contact with jaylah. Jaylah won't back down. Behind Elliot, Bronx stood against the wall just watching those two stare off. 'oh this won't be good if he doesn't back off' "oi" jaylah kept her eyes on Elliott as she spoke "good morning Tyson" "everything all good?" "As best as it can be for now. Thanks heaps" "it's fine" Tyson looked between jaylah and Elliot then at Bronx. Bronx shook his head no and Tyson nodded "so you are free?" "I was let out of my tower this morning. Thanks to my servants, i have had a shower, breakfast, a wonderful coffee and my hair braided. Who is this joker?" Tysons eyes went wide "Elliot" "I hear you are jaylah?" "That's right" "you don't back down do you?" "No" Elliot smirked "not even to a weapon?" "Nope" jaylah never removed her eyes from Elliott. Hearing the door open, jaylah rolled her eyes. "It would be smarter for you if you did. This isnt a place for princesses" a sly smirk showed on jaylahs face "princess? I don't think so" "what the fuck is going on here?" Jaylah knew it was rayal, Barron and Ivan that walked in "felt like a staring competition" "I was telling this bitch it's not a place for princesses" "you want to repeat that Elliot?" Jaylah grabbed her coffee and had the rest of her drink "rayal.." "do you have any idea who you are talking to?" "A princess I heard. Just missing my gown. I wasn't told what color" Bronx held in his laughter as jaylah never looked away from Elliot "Christophe?" "Teal is perfect my lady" rayal, Barron and Ivan all looked at each other before looking back at Elliot and jaylah "you are a joke. Women don't belong here" "hmm that's news, I can guarantee if you cross the line, you will be shot by one" Sally internally grinned as she grabbed jaylahs gun and walked her way. When Sally put the gun down in front of jaylah, Elliot looked at jaylah with a smirk "that's suppose to threaten me?" "Nope" jaylah picked it up and took the safety off and slid it to Elliot "I don't need that" Elliot picked up the gun and just as expected all the men raised theirs leaving Elliot speechless "I don't know who you are, I don't care where you came from but I'm no princess. I'm injured right now and these men and woman have been helping me" Elliot took a deep breath and slid the gun back to jaylah with a grin "nice play" "yep. Now I have a job to do" as jaylah stood up kalem put his hand on the plate and cup "I will take it jaylah" "it's fine.." "nope" "argh fine. Thanks kalem" "it's fine. now go rest" "yep. I will be in the office" "what? you can't be working" "I will be" "jaylah.." "I will be sitting" kalem grinned "fine" as jaylah walked out, rayal followed.
As she entered the office and sat down, rayal closed the door after barron and Ivan entered. "you were on a bed yesterday and now you are working?" "Yes. I think I have done enough resting. I stayed on the bed so my back recovered. Bronx said it's fine and now I can rest in here doing work" rayal smirked "that's his seat" "nope. When I'm working it's mine" "and if you both work?" "I will sit on his lap" Barron grinned while rayal looked at jaylah stunned "he's going to organize another chair. Til then we will share the chair but I'm claiming this one, it's comfortable" "you think he will allow it?" "Probably not. It is his. You aren't here to speak about a chair though" "no we were here to see how you are traveling" "well I woke up, showered, ate, got my hair braided and now I'm here" "pain?" "No" "nothing?" "It's bearable" as Bronx entered with two bags, the men and jaylah kept eye contact. "well thats a good thing" "yes. The hot water helped a lot" Bronx internally grinned as he thought of the shower they shared "Bronx is okay with you working?" "He said it's fine" "is it?" "Yes. I plan to keep living my life" "which is what we want. Have their been any other men come here?" "Not that I am aware of, I have been tied up" jaylah grabbed the large pile of paperwork that sat on the desk. "There's still people after me but I will strengthen myself up and learn to protect myself" "you can not be fighting jaylah. You received five bullets to the back" "it won't stop me, they will fully heal" as the door opened up, jaylah internally grinned "Sally" "hey boss woman. Just grabbing some paper" "that time again huh?" "Yeah, you eat a ton" "speak to the garbage guts out there" "which one?" "All" Sally grinned "speaking of all. You want all?" Jaylah grinned "yes thanks" "alright. I will make that phone call" rayal was curious as to what they were speaking about but let it slide. "thanks boss woman" jaylah grinned Sally's way "it's fine. Have fun" "tons" as Sally left, Bronx closed the safe "do you need anything jaylah?" "No thanks" "alright, I will leave you to MY desk" "sure thing receptionist" Bronx held in his grin as he walked out. "Argh, this Is ridiculous" "we'll let you get some work done. Do not push yourself jaylah" "alright" "take care" as rayal opened the door and walked out, Barron and Ivan followed. 'fucking morons. Don't even know why they come here' sorting all the paperwork into piles, jaylah then turned the computer on. 'what has he done?. Argh typical male' searching through the last six months, jaylah shook her head. 'argh this is going to take a long time' spending four hours sorting out everything on the computer, jaylah went to stand up as the door opened. Seeing kalem with a plate of food and a drink, jaylah grinned "I was just about to come out" "this isn't for you" "rude" "it's for both of us" kalem sat on the desk and placed the plate down. "Is there something I need to know?" jaylah grabbed a sandwich and sat back "I tell you everything" "everything?" 'okay not everything' "yes" "hmm.." kalem showed a cheeky grin "yeah so how did you shower this morning?" "I got in and out" "no help?" "Nope" "yeah I'm not believing that. Here's what I think happened" jaylah took a bite of her sandwich as kalem spoke "I think Bronx helped you off of the bed and helped you shower. You smell like coconut and almond. You hair has been washed and I know you can't do all that right now. If you could, you'd be wearing a bra" jaylah internally grinned "so basically you said all that to find out if something is going on between Bronx and I?" "Yep" as the door opened up, kalem hid his cheeky grin "why are you on my desk?" "Eating lunch with my sister. She wouldn't give up the chair" "MY chair" kalem grinned "whose is it?" "Mine" "maybe I should ask boss man" "ask away" "whose chair is it?" "Mine but she's using it" "who helped her shower this morning?" "Don't know" "uh-huh" jaylah wanted to laugh "not going to question her?" Bronx internally grinned "she seems fine. There's no need. How is the paperwork coming along?" "I haven't even started. What the hell did you..nah I already know what you did to the computer" Bronx smirked "it was on there" "it was a disaster. I have spent four hours fixing everything up from the last five months" "well it's kept you still and resting" kalem internally grinned 'i can see these two would be good together. He will also look after her. I just have to get it out of her. Damn boss had to walk in' "yep. I was just about to get up and walk around but kalem brought in some lunch" "getting looked after from everyone" "yep. I do appreciate all of it. Looking forward to being able to do everything on my own again" "don't rush it. What would we do with our days?" "What you used to before dealing with my sorry ass" "so nothing expect using the gym, doing runs and playing cards" "fun life" kalem chuckled "yep" kalem gave jaylah direct eye contact showing a cheeky grin. "More fun for others it seems" "shootings and shit, I like to keep it interesting" "yeah I can see that".
