Istg there's only been birthdays these days... Three bday specials in a row?! That's too much... Anyways, HBD to our lovely Mitsuya simp!

"Hakkai-kun, that's not Lupus..." You pointed out, moving closer to the boy across from you as he fumbled around shyly.

"Ah... S-Sorry..."

The said boy murmured, eyes completely fixated on the piece of paper laying in front of him, "Sorry, I mixed 'em up..." He admitted and you couldn't help but smile.

"That's fine! I have a hard time identifying them too!" His expressions brightened up a bit after your revelation yet he still kept quiet.

A few minutes passed of complete silence, and the bluenette couldn't help but ask, "[Name]-san... Do you have a dream?" Tilting your head at his odd question, you let your lips quip into a soft smile.

"I suppose I do. Do you have one as well, Hakkai-kun?" You asked, turning your head from his shy form, to the stack of papers in front of you. Since your club had been busy these days, you asked Hakkai to help you with some paperwork and the labelling of constellations.

"I guess I do? I'm not sure..." With an unreadable expression, the scarred boy turned his gaze back to the labelling. All he had to do was identify each constellation from the books laid in front of him and label their drawings done on paper.

"That's nice..." You admitted and he shot his head up in shock, "H-Huh?! How's the good?!"

You didn't look up at him, but continued to staple a bunch of documents together while you spoke, "People think that having a clear goal is always nice, and it is... But sometimes, not knowing what you want to do is also kind of nice too..." You finally looked up at him and stared right into his eyes.

"I mean-just think about it... When you don't know what you want, you tend to explore different things and try them out... Sure, not all of them are something you'd end up doing in your future, but once you try something out... You'll get to have fun, experiencing different aspects of different things... In a way, it's a good way to experience new stuff!" You concluded, grinning brightly at him.

Hakkai dipped his head shyly. You really were amazing, because he was sure that he'd never be able to think in such a different way.

"Of course, it also has its cons... But that's just like pretty much everything... Everything has pros and cons to it." Hearing this really made Hakkai think in a new light. He didn't have to worry about his future. He could just pursue something in whatever field you or Taka-chan choose.

Either way, he should focus on his present. More specifically, on you.

Blushing slightly at the thought of you, he wondered what it was that drew him into you in the first place. He knew the reason why he cared for Taka-chan so much was because he was like the older brother he could never have. But you?

You were like that one bright flame that lit up his dark life. When he first met you, he was intimidated by you. After all, you were a very high ranking member of Toman, and if he wanted to impress Taka-chan, he'd have to impress you.

But the moment he talked to you, all that fear and jitteriness was gone in the blink of an eye.

You were kinder to him, just like his sister, Yuzuha and Taka-chan. But your gentleness wasn't because of the fact that you were related to him or anything. It was because you were just a nice person, who wasn't unnecessary mean to anyone new that you met, unlike Taiju.

Whenever you interacted with other members of the gang, you wouldn't let your high status build a barrier between you. You were just as kind to others as you were to your friends. Now that he thinks about it, the only time he's seen you being mean to someone is during a fight.
