It was one morning at the bullpen, and Erin was walking up the stairs with a coffee in her hand.

Oh hi baby. Jay responded, as he went to kiss and hug her.

Hi bubba. Erin smiled.

The two broke apart and Voight came out of his office.

Morning team! Voight replied.

They all said morning, and sat down at their desks, Kim with Adam, Jay with Erin, and Hailey with Atwater.

Morning hank. Erin replied.

Morning kid. Hank smiled.

Okay, we got two prisoners who escaped Cook County, A Gregory yates, and a Tim Routledge, their both to be believed dangerous, so Halstead, Erin do some knock and talks, Atwater, Upton check for records from 8 years ago, if they would go to someone they know to camp, Nadia call forensics and see if they can bring back 2 days of evidence, Let's go team. Voight ordered.

Copy that. They all said, as they got to it.

Erin was driving like usual, and Jay thought he should ask the question.

Babe, when you gonna let me drive? Jay groaned.

Umm, never. Erin replied, as she focused on the roads.

But that's unfair. Jay replied.

seniority rules. Erin said as she glanced to the side.

I've been on the job long-. Jay got cut of by Erin.

I've been in this unit longer. Ern quipped back, as she drove.

I feel like a house husband. Jay muttered.

Aww, well you are my house husband baby. Erin smirked.

No.. wait I see what you did there Lindsay. Jay laughed.

Erin giggled, as they arrived at the location.

Hank walked past, as Nadia got off the phone.

Voight, that was forensics, there sending it off to us now. Nadia stood up.

Voight stopped, and replied.

Nadia, you don't have to stand up every time I walked past. Voight chuckled.

Nadia sat back down, and asked a question.

Umm, Voight? Nadia questioned.

Yes Nadia. Voight asked.

Thanks for letting me be in this unit, I will not let you down. Nadia smiled.

Good, and no problem. Voight smiled too.

Nadia wrote in Erin's birthday card, and spotted Jay sitting at his desk.

Nadia got up, and walked over to him, once she made sure the coast was clear.

Jay. Nadia whispered.

Oh hi Nadia, what's up? Jay sipped on his coffee.

Umm, where's Erin? Nadia questioned.

In the breakroom. Jay looked, to make sure he was right, and he was.

Okay, follow me. Nadia asked.

Okayyy. Jay replied, as he got up.

The duo walked into the locker room, and Nadia spoke first.

So, Erin is like my best friend, I wanna plan a surprise party for her! Nadia exclaimed.

Jay was intrigued by this Surprise and he totally agreed with it, but Erin hated birthday parties.

I love it Nads, but Erin hates birthday parties. Jay stated.

Don't worry Jay, I'll talk to her. Nadia replied.

Okay. Jay remarked.

So, can you write in this card. Nadia asked, as she handed it to him.

Of course. Jay smiled, as he leant the card on the wall.

So, I wanna get her a ice cream cake. Nadia suggested.

Sounds like a plan. Jay smiled as he finished writing in it.

So, If I can't borrow Erin's car, yours? Nadia questioned.

Sure, just make sure Erin isn't downstairs. Jay whispered, as he gave the card back.

Got it, I'll do it tonight. Nadia responded, as she turned round, and got met by Erin.

Do what tonight? Erin remarked, as she appeared.

Jay and Nadia's faces both turned red, as Nadia tried to explain.

Oh hi girl, Oh umm, doing some grocery shopping. Nadia acted like nothing was wrong.

Hello. Oh right. Erin raised an eyebrow, she knew something was going on.

Hi baby, you okay? Jay asked.

Yes, I'm fine, Jay what's going on? Erin asked.

Jay knew this was his cue to leave, so he left before kissing Erin on the head.

Oh come on Jay. Nadia groaned.

Nadia? Erin ordered her to spill, but she wouldn't.

Nothing's happening? Nadia responded.

Erin let it slide for now, but she still knew Nadia was lying.

You better not be planning me a Surprise party. Erin whispered.

I'm not, Honestly. Nadia promised, Even though it wasn't true.

I know where you live. Erin threatened.

Nadia knew Erin was right, dammit, she had to come up with something to hide it.

Erin walked out, and left for the car lot.

Nadia managed to get Erin's car, and drove to the supermarket to pick up the cake.

Alright, so we got some witnesses, lets move people. Voight ordered.

They all got on their computers, and did some more casework.

Nadia had the cake in her hand, and Gregory yates turned up, and scared Nadia.

Gregory tapped Nadia on the shoulder, and knocked her out.

Nadia dropped the birthday cake, and Yates picked her up, and slid her in the car.

Yates got into the drivers side, and drove off.

Nothing but a smashed birthday cake on the ground, with 30 written on it.
