~Mother's day~

The whole unit were bragging on what to get their mother's for mother's day, and Jay found it very uncomfortable.

Erin looked over, and saw Jay distracting himself with files, from old cases.

"Jay?" Erin whispered.

Jay didn't look up.

"Jay?" Erin called.

Jay looked up this time, and nodded.

"Yes, Erin?" Jay asked.

Erin saw the tears forming in Jay's eyes, and knew it was about today.

"You okay?" Erin asked.

Jay nodded, he really wasn't.

"Okay, I-I know how hard today is..." Erin spoke quietly.

Jay nodded, and got back to what he was doing,.

After a few minutes. The unit were still going on about their mother's, and Ruzek being clueless, asked Jay a question.

"Yo, Jay, what are you getting for your mom?" Adam smiled softly.

Jay stood up, and flipped all the files off his desk.

"WOAH!" Erin stood up.

Ruzek was confused on why that made Jay so mad.

"Man? W-What the hell?" Ruzek asked.

Kim noticed how badly Jay was shaking, so she explained.

"Ruzek, Jay's mother's dead, you dumbass!" Kim exclaimed.

Ruzek instantly felt bad, and went over to hug Jay.

Once Ruzek made contact with Jay, Jay spoke.

"D-Don't Man, J-Just don't.." Jay stepped back.

Ruzek nodded, and walked back to his desk.

"I-I'm going out for air, to hot in here..." Jay grabbed his Jacket.

They nodded, and Antonio stood up.

"Guys, what did Voight tell you at the start, when Halstead joined?" Antonio asked.

"N-Not to talk about Jay's mother..." Ruzek sighed.

Antonio nodded, and spoke.

"Exactly! And, Y'all just ignored that, so when Halstead comes back, Ruzek, your going to apologise!" Antonio ordered.

Erin nodded, and went to get Hank.

"I-I'm gonna get Hank..." Erin whispered.

Antonio nodded, and sat back down.

After a few minutes. Erin opened Hank's door, and walked in.

Hank looked up, and smiled.

"Hi Kiddo!" Hank smiled.

Erin nodded, and smiled.

"U-Umm, I-It's not entirely Ruzek's fault, but, he accidently asked about Jay's mother, which set Jay off, Ruzek tried to apologise, but Jay didn't wanna hear it..." Erin explained.

Voight nodded, and sighed.

"W-Where'd Halstead go?" Voight asked.

"U-Umm, to get air, I think?" Erin nodded.

Voight shook his head, he knew Jay wasn't going for air.

"Jay's not getting air, Erin.." Voight whispered.

Erin was worried now.

"W-What do you mean? If he's not getting air?  W-Where is he?" Erin asked.

Hank sighed, he knew where Jay was.

"Erin, Jay's at his mom's grave." Hank replied.

Erin's heart broke, and she spoke.

"W-Well, let's go!" Erin stood up.

Hank nodded, and grabbed his Jacket.

Erin opened the door, and walked out with Hank.

"Alright! Were off case for awhile, grab your things, were saying sorry to Jay, by buying his mom some flowers to put on her grave, let's go!" Hank ordered.

The unit nodded, and left the bullpen.

After a few hours. The unit all brought some flowers, and arrived at the grave.

Erin saw Jay crouching down next to his mom's grave, alone.

The unit got out of their cars, and walked slowly to Jay.

Jay was crying, as he spoke.

"I-I'm s-sorry, I wasn't good enough to help you, with whatever you needed, I-I tried mama, I-I really tried, anyway, Happy Birthday Mama..." Jay placed the flowers down.

Erin walked up to Jay, and crouched down.

"H-Hi Jay." Erin smiled softly.

Jay looked up, and sobbed.

"Oh My Baby, come here." Erin opened her arms.

Jay fell into Erin's arms, and sobbed uncontrollably.

"Shhh, I got you, sweetheart, I got you..." Erin soothed.

The unit placed all their flowers in the mudholes, and all hugged Jay.

Voight came in last, and hugged all his unit.

"I got you all, I got you...." Hank smiled.

Erin kept holding Jay in her arms, until he could calm down.

After a few hours. Erin and Jay arrived home, and sat on the couch.

Erin gave Jay some Lavender tea, to settle him down.

Once Jay finished his tea, he lied his head on the pillow on Erin's lap.

Erin stuck her hand softly, under Jay's shirt, and scratched his lower back gently.

Once Jay was asleep. Erin put the tv on, and watched the rest of Law and Order.
