Earlier that day...

Erin arrives at O'Hare airport, feeling tired, as she has her suitcase in her hand.

Erin gets off the escalator, and as she gets off, her suitcase falls open.

Erin groans, and crouches down, to collect her stuff.

After a few minutes. Erin's old school friend, comes over.

"Erin?" Melanie asked.

Erin looked up, and then looked back down.

"Hi Melanie." Erin spoke quietly.

"I-It's Jameson now." Melanie sassed.

Erin scoffed quietly, and rezipped her suitcase.

"Looks like you seen better days..." Melanie smirked.

"Yeah, well, at least I don't look like a person who's just come out of a nightclub." Erin sassed.

Melanie was lost for words, so she changed the subject.

"Anyway, there's a high-school reunion, you should come." Melanie replied.

Erin stood up, and spoke.

"Yeah, maybe." Erin nodded.

Melanie nodded, and said her goodbye.

"Good to see you, Erin." Melanie walked off.

Erin grabbed her suitcase, and walked off...

Erin arrived at the district, and walked in.

"Lindsay, morning!" Platt beamed.

Erin waved, and met Jay at the stairs.

"Hey, you alright?" Jay asked.

"You own a suit?" Erin asked.

Jay nodded, and spoke.

"Yeah, why?" Jay asked.

"Your coming with me to my high-school reunion." Erin rushed out.

Jay took a minute to think about it, then Erin spoke again.

"Also, were engaged!" Erin rushed upstairs.

Jay took a breath, and walked upstairs.

"Wait..." Jay followed Erin.

Erin and Jay arrived at upstairs, and Jay spoke.

"W-Why do we need to be engaged?" Jay asked.

The whole unit stopped, and turned round.

"Wait what? Halstead's proposing to Lindsay?" Adam asked.

Erin and Jay blushed, and Erin spoke.

"No, Dumbass, Jay's coming with me to high-school reunion..." Erin started.

"And, you need to be engaged for that?" Antonio asked.

"Ugh! Forget I said anything!" Erin walked to her desk.

The unit all nodded, and chuckled.

"I'm still not onboard with this engagement thing." Jay whispered.

Erin looked up, and scoffed.

"Whatever Jay!" Erin logged on.

Jay laughed, he was lying, he'd love to be engaged to Erin, he just didn't wanna tell the whole unit.

Erin could tell Jay was lying, it was obvious in his voice.

After Awhile. The unit were in their cars, while waiting for a suspect.
