~Exhausted~

It was 4AM, and Jay was walking into the district, and upstairs into the bullpen.

Adam got up, and noticed Jay, walking in.

"Jay? Man, what are you doing here?" Adam asked.

Jay noticed Adam, and smiled.

"Umm, I work here?" Jay smirked.

Adam nodded, and spoke again.

"I-I know that...-W-Where's Hailey?" Adam wondered.

"Sleeping, last night was hard for her..." Jay sighed.

Adam nodded, and remembered last night's case.

"I-I thought you were done with the case?" Adam questioned.

Jay nodded, and logged on.

"Y-Yeah, wanted to come in early..." Jay responded.

Adam only nodded, and looked at his computer.

After Awhile. Jay was fast asleep, and Adam noticed.

"I knew it..." Adam whispered.

Adam logged off, and got up.

As Adam got to Jay's desk, he logged Jay off.

"Time to get you home. Buddy." Adam smiled.

Adam held Jay up, and steadied him.

Once Adam and Jay got downstairs. Trudy noticed.

"What's up with, Chuckles?" Platt wondered.

Adam turned round, and explained.

"Well, he came here, to finish a case, then fell asleep, so I'm taking him home..." Adam explained.

Trudy nodded, and said her goodnights.

Adam pushed the door open, and walked towards his truck.

"Alright, your gonna be okay. Jay.." Adam reassured.

Adam gently placed Jay in the backseat, and closed the door.

Adam opened the driver's door, and hopped in.

"Let's get you back, to Hailey's." Adam put his glasses on.

Adam closed his door, and drove.

Adam soon arrived at Hailey and Jay's apartment.

"Here we are. Buddy." Adam smiled.

Adam got out, and slid Jay carefully out.

"A-Ads..." Jay mumbled.

Adam noticed Jay awake, and smiled.

"Hey, Jay, I'm taking you to Hails, now." Adam explained.

Jay sleepily nodded, and leant on Adam's shoulder.

Adam smiled, and walked into the building.

After a short while. Adam and Jay arrived at Hailey's apartment.

Hailey opened the door, and saw Adam with Jay.

"Missing someone?" Adam asked.

Hailey saw how exhausted Jay looked.

"Yeah, where'd you find him? He was gone, when I woke up?" Hailey questioned.

"Found him at the district, I could tell he was tired, fell asleep, at his desk." Adam reported.

Hailey nodded, and took Jay from Adam.

"My poor baby, well, thanks for bringing him back." Hailey smiled.

Adam smiled, and said his goodnight.

"Night Darlin!" Adam smiled.

"Night. Man!" Hailey smiled back.

Once Adam left. Hailey shut the door.

"Let's get you back to bed, babe." Hailey suggested.

"I-I love you, Hails..." Jay muttered.

Hailey smiled, and walked upstairs.

"Love you too, hubby, love you too." Hailey whispered.

After Awhile. Hailey and Jay got into bed, and fell asleep.
