Jay ~ Autism

It was one morning. and It was Jay's first day back at work from being diagnosed with Autism.

"Come on babe. let's go." The Brown haired spoke.

Jay hid under the duvets. not wanting to leave the bed.

"Baby. come on." Erin whispered.

"No." Is all that came from the younger male.

"The unit. they are all looking forward to seeing you." Erin encouraged.

"I-I can wear your hoodie?" Jay asked.

Erin smiled. and nodded.

"Of course babe." Erin smiled.

Jay nodded. and got up. 

"Here's my one. with the straps you like." Erin handed Jay a turquoise jumper.

Jay thanked Erin. and placed it over his body.

"Ready to go?" Erin asked.

Jay only nodded. and played with the straps at the bottom of his jumper.

Erin smiled. and they both walked out. 

After Awhile. Jay and Erin arrived at the district. and said hello to the desk sergeant.

"Hi you two." Trudy smiled.

Jay placed his hands over his ears. as he heard a lot of chatter.

"Oh Baby. here's your headphones. they should help." Erin placed them over his ears.

Jay nodded. and started to relax.

"Hey Platt. Jay's a little nervous." Erin whispered.

"Aww. I bet. the unit is upstairs. all looking forward to seeing him." Trudy smiled.

Erin smiled back. and guided Jay upstairs.

"Anytime you wanna go home. just say. alright babe?" Erin whispered.

Jay nodded. and held Erin's hand tight.

"It's okay Jay." Erin kissed Jay's head.

As soon as Erin and Jay got upstairs. everyone stayed silent. apart from Adam.

"BUDDY!!" Adam yelled.

Jay whimpered. and ran into Hank's office.

"Adam!" Kim whispered.

"Damn. I-I'm really sorry. I forgot." Adam kicked himself.

Everyone glared at Adam. for scaring Jay.

"It's okay. I'll check on him." Erin walked into Hank's office.

The unit nodded. and sat down at their desks.

After a moment. Jay was in the corner. sobbing his heart out.

"Oh Jay. it's okay." Erin silently walked in.

Jay just pulled at the straps on his jumper. to try and calm him.

"C-Can I come closer?" Erin asked. not scaring Jay.

"Y-Yes." Jay patted the spot next to him.

Erin nodded. and sat in the spot where Jay patted.

"Can I give you a hug?" Erin asked.

Jay nodded again. and let himself be embraced by Erin.

"It's okay baby. Adam's just a dumbass." Erin soothed.

Jay nodded. and closed his eyes.

"He okay?" A sudden voice appeared.

Erin nodded. and spoke.

"Yeah. he's just a bit scared. but he's okay." Erin smiled.

Hank nodded. and shut the door.

"Jay's okay. he's just scared." Hank reassured the unit.

The unit all nodded. relieved that Jay was okay.

After Awhile. Adam apologised. and Jay reassured it was okay.

"Let's go home babe." Erin suggested.

Jay nodded. and walked downstairs with Erin. 

After a few hours. Jay and Erin arrived home. and went straight to bed.

"I'm so proud of you baby." Erin kissed Jay's head.

"T-Thanks." Jay smiled.

After a moment. Jay fell asleep. with Erin rubbing his back. and Erin fell asleep as well.
