It's been eight months, since Jay left Hailey to go fight the most dangerous drug cartels.

Hailey was up most of the night, checking her phone, and keeping her phone on charge.

"Please call me, babe." Hailey whispered to herself.

The room was silent. Jay's side empty, and cold, with his pillow portrait on his side.

"Time to get up." Hailey muttered.

Hailey got out of bed, and walked into the bathroom.

The light switched on, and all the bathroom supplies were on the sink.

As Hailey brushed her teeth, her eyes darted to Jay's razor, and toothbrush.

Hailey teared up, and washed her face.

After Awhile. Hailey got her usual order from Starbucks, and drove to the district.

Hailey parked in her spot, and walked into the district.

As Hailey walked into the bullpen, she saw the team's eyes on her.

"Morning..." Hailey smiled.

The unit all said their responses, they were all worried about Hailey.

"How'd you sleep?" Kim asked.

Hailey sighed, she didn't sleep well.

"Not great, waiting for Jay to answer, but nothing." Hailey sighed.

The unit nodded, and kept their mouth's shut, about the special surprise.

Hailey was typing up her old case paperwork, she had to finish.

It soon came lunchtime, and Hailey looked at all the pictures of her, and Jay.

"Hey, look at this one!" Hailey laughed.

The unit all looked, and smiled.

It was Jay eating a ice cream cone, and his face turning into an ice cube.

"I-I remember that day..." Adam laughed.

Hailey nodded, and Hank came out of his office.

"Upton?" Hank called out.

Hailey put her phone down, and looked at Hank.

"What's up?" Hailey sipped her coffee.

"Someone's in interrogation, go interview them." Hank ordered.

Hailey nodded, and called Kim.

"Kim, wanna co-." Hailey got cut off.

"No, No, just you." Hank nodded.

Hailey was confused now, but went.

"Okay? You guys are freaking me out!" Hailey exclaimed.

The unit all giggled quietly, and watched Hailey go.

"I-It's Jay, right?" Kim asked.

"Oh, Yeah!" Hank crossed his arms.

The unit all nodded, and glad they could do it.

As Hailey walked down the hall, she peered in the observation room, to see who she was interviewing, and it was Jay, her Jay.

"NO. WAY!!!" Hailey yelled.

Hailey ran into the interrogation room, and saw Jay.

"Jay..." Hailey whispered.

The door shut closed, as Hailey took a breath.

Jay turned round, and teared up.

"Hi Hails..." Jay whispered.

Hailey smiled, and ran into Jay's arms.

"Oh, I-I've missed you so much..." Jay wrapped his arms around.

Jay snuggled down, and cried.

"I'm here, baby, right here..." Hailey whispered.

Jay started shaking, and sobbing.

"Hey, Hey, It's okay, let it out." Hailey soothed.

As Jay broke completely. Hailey rubbed his back.

"Sssh, I got you, honey..." Hailey soothed.

Jay sobbed, months, and months of holding back.

"It's okay, no one can hurt you, your out now.." Hailey comforted.

Jay sniffled, and smiled.

"I-I Just love you, so, so much..." Jay whispered.

Hailey smiled, and kissed Jay's lips.

After a few hours. Hailey and Jay were in bed.

Jay laying on Hailey's chest, falling asleep.

Hailey kissed Jay's warm head, glad her husband was home.
