~Sensory Issues~

It was Hailey and Jay's first day back, after finding out, Hailey had Sensory issues.

"Ready Hails?" Jay asked.

Hailey tried focusing on Jay's voice, but she couldn't.

"I-I can't hear!!" Hailey cried.

Jay saw fresh tears coming from Hailey, and It broke his heart.

"O-Okay, It's okay, I'm here." Jay whispered.

Hailey kept crying, she hated her condition.

"Let's go upstairs." Jay suggested.

Hailey tried looking for Jay's hand, and this made her more scared.

"It's okay, It's here." Jay gently placed his hand in Hailey's.

Hailey clutched onto Jay's hand, and tried walking with him.

"Let's take it slow, no rush." Jay smiled.

Hailey managed to do a nod, and slowly walked upstairs.

After a few minutes. Jay and Hailey reached the bullpen.

"It's alright." Jay comforted.

Hailey tried focusing on her friends, and felt a sudden touch on her arm.

"G-GET OFF!!" Hailey shouted.

Adam immediately took his hand off Hailey.

"Man, Hailey doesn't like sudden touches..." Jay whispered to Adam.

Adam nodded, and understood.

"T-Too bright!!" Hailey whimpered.

Hank noticed his daughter's condition, and spoke.

"Jay? Take her in the breakroom.." Hank whispered.

Jay nodded, and guided Hailey with him.

"Oops, careful." Jay helped Hailey up.

Hailey started crying, she hated it.

"I-I hate this!!" Hailey tried walking.

"I know you do baby." Jay teared up.

Jay took Hailey to the breakroom, and closed the door.

"It's nice, and dark." Jay gently sat Hailey on the couch.

Hailey took in the couch, and felt hungry.

"C-Can I have my pasta?" Hailey mumbled.

Jay nodded, and opened the fridge.

There was a pot of pasta, with Hailey's name on it.

"Here you go, Hails." Jay gently handed the pot to her.

Hailey took the pot, and at some small bites.

After Awhile. Hailey was in the bullpen, and the lights were dimmed.

Adam was spraying some aftershave, which made Hailey go crazy.

"W-What's that smell?" Hailey sniffed.

Jay looked at Hailey, and smelt the same smell.

"I-I think it's Adam's aftershave." Jay nodded.

Hailey hated it, she didn't like strong smells.

"I-I don't like it!!" Hailey whimpered.

Jay turned to Adam, and apologised.

"S-Sorry, Man, are you able tone it down a little?" Jay asked.

Adam realised his aftershave stank the whole room, and nodded.

"S-Sorry, I wasn't thinking.." Adam apologised.

Jay smiled, and nodded.

"It's alright, Hails." Jay smiled.

Hailey nodded, and tried getting up.

Jay was watching Hailey stand up, but then caught her.

"O-Ow..." Hailey mumbled.

Jay helped Hailey up, and sit on the chair.

"P-Please, don't touch." Hailey whispered.

Jay nodded, and stood back.

"No worries, I'm here, if you need me." Jay explained.

Hailey nodded, and rubbed her jeans.

After a second. Kevin shouted at Adam, not realising Hailey was in the room.

"WHAT THE HELL!!" Kevin yelled.

Jay felt someone grab his leg, and realised it was Hailey.

"Guys!! Hailey's in the room..." Jay whispered.

Kevin looked over, and instantly felt bad.

"Oh gosh!! I-I'm so sorry..." Kevin apologised.

Hailey nodded, and let out a sob.

"Alright, It's alright, let's go home.." Jay whispered.

Hailey nodded, and held her arms up.

Jay picked Hailey up, so she wouldn't bump into things.

"I-I'm sorry, Man." Kevin apologised.

"No worries, just, keep your voice down.." Jay explained.

Kevin nodded, and carried on working.

After Awhile. Jay and Hailey arrived home.
