The recent death of the guard left Yuvan exhausted. He was tired of handling many cases at a go. He knew that serpents are the devils behind the scene but unexpectedly, instead of exploiting the situation of their involvement he had to follow their lead. He totally felt helpless at this point and headed straight to his room after witnessing the frozen corpse behind the iron bars.

Amanya was restless and was waiting for Yuvan at the front door. She felt lonely and missed Alok who would have accompanied her in the door. Almost after an incense period, she saw him returning with his head down. A sudden emotion of guilt filled in her heart and she hid and walked back to the lawn, avoiding him. Her sudden action, she herself couldn't reason it and asked to herself, ' why am I feeling guilty. He deserves his death.'

Deva was resting after a trial in his life which he felt might have cost him his life.

"Deva, you are still alive?"

"Huh??" Deva woke up and looked around. " Ashok, better you shut up."

Ashok came in with a smile of mockery. He brushed him and confirmed that Deva is still intact.

"Hey! What do you mean? Huh? Do you think I won't be back safe and sound." Ashoka nodded unknowingly.

"You!!"

"I am sorry. I won't tease you anymore."

"Ashoka, where is the commander? Is she fine."

"I don't think she can make it for today."

"What? but why??"

"Just my instincts. If you are interested you can bet on my instincts."

"I don't dare. I believe in you and your so-called instincts." Deva smiled ignorantly.

"By the way Deva, how did you feel as a messenger?"

"Don't ask. I could feel the heat of hellfire straight still in my every breath. Staying in an enemy land for this long, I was never scared as I was; in my own land. But; everything was strange there.

She went back to the door and saw him heading to their bedroom. He left the door open maybe, he was completely broken inside that he couldn't even bother. Witnessing him like a dull doll, she couldn't take it any more. She barged into the room and grabbed his hand, "Lets go".
