Wake up!!

The man was standing in front of her in a black cloak. He looked like a cobra but he wasn't. His demeanor was like that of a commander. His face wasn't clear and from her current situation, it wasn't sure whether he was a friend or foe. From yesterday's event, she was sure that she was betrayed by a cobra. But all these facts were not restraining her. The unknown man gave her unexplainable confidence and trust. She slowly put her hands through the iron bars trying to reach his face. Seeing her actions, he moved a step back and removed the cloak. In the bizarre light, she saw his face;

"Jiva...

Brother, why are you here...

Jiva..."

He remained silent until she stopped her words. He took a step front and raised his hand. Time stopped at that instant. She couldn't believe her eyes. The flame of the lantern in front of her stood still. She was taken aback in shock. He moved towards her and passed through the rails as if he had no body but just a soul.

Amanya lay on the ground scared. Her throat was dry and she felt it too hard to yell for help. With all her strength remaining, she asked;

"Jiva... No, you are not my brother. Who are you...? "

"Krithika...

Wake up..."

"Krithika...?? Who is she??" Where is my brother?? " She looked straight into his eyes but her lips were trembling. Her hands searched for something to grab though she had a knife with her; she was too scared to think.

The man bend towards her, with the light falling on his face; "Aras... The god of lightning."

"God??" She couldn't consume her brain with all the sudden instances in her life in a single stroke. But with his power and holding, she could believe in his immortal self.

He kept his lamp aside and slowly held her hands. His gentle touch calmed her as if she believed him and was willing to listen; "Krithika, let me take you to your past..."
