Naruto's POV

We had all left that area. We were all injured, tired, hungry...sad...But we needed to keep walking. We needed to get away from this place...So we could go home.

I really miss home right now...I miss Kyuu...

I had to stop myself from crying again as Sasuke pulled me closer to him as if trying to help me, which I kinda appreciated.

I leaned into him before glancing over to our brother's. Sasukie was carrying Menma cause he had cried himself to sleep. I wanted to go and comfort him, but at the same time, I didn't want to wake him up when he just managed to get some rest unlike the rest of us.

I looked forward again, not wanting to look back even though I wanted to also check on Gaara and Killer bee who's been quiet for a while now.

We all remained silent for the whole time until we found a resting spot...

"I think we've gone far enough, let's rest here for now," Sasuke says before letting me go so I could sit down...I then finally looked back and took notice that Gaara wasn't actually with us anymore as my ears then lowered.

I started to look around for him until a thud could be heard earning my attention as I looked forward to seeing that Sasuke had collapsed. 'Is Master ok?' I crawled towards him and gently shook his shoulder until I noticed the pool of blood that started to come from him.

"Master! Guys, Master's hurt we need to-," I froze and looked around the others were just staring at me, with a criticizing glare.

"G-guys..." I whimpered "Naruto, we're all hurt. He's probably just exhausted," Menma says annoyed since after all I did just wake him up from his slumber but this was serious "no! he's bleeding out and where's one tail!" I said "left to find food," Sasukie says before forcing himself up off the ground so he could come and help.

I then looked down at Master and rolled him onto his back so I could at least put pressure on his wound but that only caused more blood to come out of him as I whimpered loudly.

He was getting colder and colder.

"No, no, nononononono..." I whimpered before looking around again as my blood went cold. The others looked lifeless as they were now either slouched or laying on the ground 'Please let them just be sleeping'.

I couldn't help but get up and at least try to help the others but for some reason nothing was working they wouldn't move nor would my actions help them "no, please don't leave me alone, please, Minmin, Master, guys, please. I don't want to be alone again," I whimpered with tears rolling down my cheeks.

"I-I need to find Gaara, m-maybe he could help me," I said before carefully pulling them in a group and doing my best to cover their wounds before running off to find Gaara.

But I wish I didn't try to...

As there, on the ground was one tail laying on the ground lifeless, it looked like someone mercilessly killed him... 'I-I'm all alone...' I grabbed at my hair whimpering 'I'm all alone...' falling to my knees I wrapped my tails around me as a form of comfort before screaming out in pain, and in fear.

'I don't want to be alone, I want my friends back, I want my brother back, I want Master back...Kyuubi where are you?'

"Naruto!" I shot up away quickly before looking around me when I noticed the others looking at me concerned. I soon whimpered "g-guys..." I mumbled needing to make sure they were real until Master had pulled me into a tight hug which I instantly returned while shaking.

"Hey, it's ok brother. It was just a nightmare," I heard Menma says softly "I'll go find him something to drink," I heard Sasukie say as I looked over "don't go please..." I whimpered when Sasuke gently rubbed my back, "he won't go far I promise," he says softly.
"Are you sure?" I asked "yes, we're sure. We found a resting spot close to drinking water," Menma commented.

I nodded slightly before gasping "where's One tail and Bee," I soon asked when I noticed they weren't around.

That was when I heard the sound of leaves rustling earning my attention as I jumped only to see Gaara and Killer bee walking over with food.
"Hey, it's alright, we're all here. Your not alone Kitten," I heard Master says before I started to finally calm down and relax in his arms "everyone's safe?" I asked while resting my head on his shoulder "yes Kitten, everyone's safe," he reassured me.

"Ya gave us a scare, did you have a nightmare," Killer Bee asked as I slightly nodded my head and tried to relax more though I was still a bit too scared to actually go back to sleep.

But knowing the others were still around at my side, I started to feel much safer than I did originally "thanks guys," I mumbled when I felt Sasuke run his fingers through my hair "any time Kitten," he says softly.
