Naruto's POV

The bloody guy said we were safe and our Owner won't ever bother us agian...He gave us treats and allowed us to be in his bag for travel but...
How do I know he's being genuine and not just trying to get us to trust him and his look-alike so they could use us later on?
That's what Owner did, that's what he told us other people would do if we tried to escape agian...

I like his bag, it makes me feel at home...

Home...

That's where...big brother is? That's where...Master is?.. I miss them...

I hope I get to see them agian...

I snuggled into Menma for comfort while he was sleeping. I've noticed he's been silently crying to himself after he found out he lost his baby...it was the day Owner put us in the dark room...I don't know how long we were in there but the scary shadow growlers- er dogs hurt him and he lost the baby... I hate him for that...

"Alright Sasukie it's your turn," my ears perked up before I peeked my head out of the bag slightly 'Sa-Sa-su-kee?' I then saw food right in front of my face startling me a bit 'berries?' I hesitantly reached out for them, and when nothing happened I quickly took as much in my hands as I could before hiding then lightly woke Menma up so he could have some too.

But he wouldn't move, all he did was breathe really heavy 'what's wrong with Minmin?' my ears lowered before I put the berries down on my side and I lightly shook him some more, something's wrong with him! Maybe he needs help "num num," I frowned even more until he finally rolled over now facing me, 'he's been crying agian...' I put my hand on his head when I noticed how warm he was when I squeaked by accident before quickly covering my mouth.

But it was too late as this apparently earned the bloody man's attention "what's wrong?" he says as I hesitantly but slightly pushed the opening of the bag more so he could look inside, 'I think...I think Minmin's sick! I don't know what to do, he's never gotten sick before?!?!' I was panicking until the bloody man picked my brother up and held him. Though he was trying to help I still didn't dare make eye contact with him or look at his face, I just stared at his body, or my brother while silently begging for him to not hurt my brother for getting sick.

"Hey, it's going to be ok, we'll get him to a doctor as soon as possible ok Kitten," the bloody man says when my ears perked up 'Kitten? How does he know my name...Only Master and our family knows...' I slightly glanced up but only at his chin before looking back at my brother agian.
'I shouldn't look at his face to try and confirm who he is, he'd probably hit me...' I whimpered slightly when I felt a hand on my head that startled me, but I didn't dare move nor make a sound. 'I am very noisy today, I need to shut up before they get mad...' "Kitten," he said my nickname agian.

"You don't need to be scared," he says while patting my head 'this feels nice,' I slightly leaned into his touch when he moved his hand to my cheek which at first scared me a little but I then leaned into his touch after he didn't move it for a while.

"Hey, I got some more water!" my ears perked up but I didn't both to move 'when did he get water?' I questioned confused 'did I miss that part? I hope not?' I frowned a little until I felt fingers going through my hair calming me down.

'How does he know what to do? Who is he? Did Master hire him to save me? Or has he been stalking me?'

 I then focused on my brother before I moved my head away. Sadly. Then went inside the bag and grabbed some berries for my brother. When I felt the same hand on my head agian this time with enough courage and curiosity I cautiously glanced up to look at his face and froze 'he looks so familiar...like...I've seen him before,' I stared at him for a while as he was trying to get my brother to drink something.
"Hey Sasuke," my ears twitched 'Sa-su-ke...that's Master's name...why?' "hn," the guy hummed "someone's staring at you," the other person says until the guy looked at me but I quickly looked away to watch my brother, 'I'm not allowed to make eye contact and I'm not allowed to look at their faces what am I doing!!'.
