mitch laid peacefully in scott's arms, his breathing steady and his eyes closed.

scott was asleep as well, holding mitch closely with his face buried in his hair.

mitch shifted in his sleep, starting to wake up.

scott, being a light sleeper, jumped awake immediately.

the movement caused mitch to wake up, and he blinked sleepily up at scott.

"hi," scott croaked, his voice hoarse from remnants of sleep.

mitch smiled sleepily and closed his eyes again, curling closer to scott.

scott blinked as he felt the voice pushing for control over his mind. he frowned slightly and managed to push it away for the time being.

"are you okay?" mitch asked softly, forcing his eyes open to look up at him.

"i'm fine," scott murmured, frowning again as the voice hissed in his ear. let me take over, scott. just give me your word and we'll rule. we can kill this little brat and get someone who actually deserves you. just let me have control.

mitch frowned slightly when he saw scott's eyes darken a shade or two and he felt his heart beat faster as he carefully maneuvered out of his arms. "scott?"

just say it, the voice hissed, pushing harder against scott's mind. we could rule the world.

mitch bit his lip, but remembered what scott told him, and began slowly inching towards the door.

just like that, the voice took over, and he smirked widely up at mitch. "i don't think so."

mitch whimpered and moved faster, knowing his scott was gone. he rushed out of the bedroom.

quick as a flash, scott was up and had mitch tightly against his chest. "bad boy," he growled in mitch's ear.

mitch shivered and immediately started to cry. he wanted scott back.

scott growled again and shoved him against the wall, pinning his arms over his head.

"please, scott. come back. please, i love you," mitch sobbed, struggling hopelessly against scott's grip.

"he's not coming back," the evil scott snarled. "not in time to save you anyway. he deserves better than you, you little brat."

mitch whimpered and sobbed again, whispering another small, "i love you."

scott pulled away, but kept an iron grip on his wrist, pulling him down to the basement. he ignored the desperate pleas of the good scott in his head.

mitch started struggling again when he saw the door to the basement, with more vigor this time. "please, no. i-i'm sorry. i'll be good..."

scott ignored him and threw him down the stairs, grinning evilly as mitch hit the bottom with a sickening crack.

mitch screamed as he felt a few of his ribs snap, sobbing louder.

the pleas of the good scott got louder and the good and evil scott fought for control of his mind. unfortunately, the evil scott was stronger, and he won with ease.

mitch laid immobilized at the foot of the stairs, sobbing weakly and whispering small "i love you"'s.

scott's eyes darkened and he decided to put the boy out of his misery, picking up a gun and shooting him.

mitch screamed again, but it was quickly cut short. he was dead.

immediately, scott snapped back to his regular self. he looked frantically around for mitch, disoriented.

as soon as he spotted mitch's lifeless body, his heart shattered, and he fell to the ground with a loud sob. what did i tell you? villains aren't supposed to fall in love.

scott sobbed louder and frantically shook his head, scrambling over to mitch's side and desperately kissing his cold lips.

mitch didn't kiss back.

scott sobbed loudly again, but soon his sadness turned to rage. he quickly dried his tears and allowed the evil scott to take over, and this time, he would be there to stay.
