"Scotty, baby, wake up. I made you breakfast," Mitch started gently, shaking Scott in an effort to wake him up. The blond whined and tried to pull Mitch back down with him, but Mitch just smiled and shook his head, laughing quietly. "Scotty. Wake up." Scott pouted, but slowly opened his eyes. Mitch grinned and pecked his lips. "Sit up, princess. I made you breakfast," he murmured, and Scott grudgingly obeyed.

Mitch handed him the tray with the breakfast, and Scott blinked sleepily down at the heart-shaped pancakes and milk. "Y-... You made this for me?" he whispered, and Mitch nodded with a smile. "Happy Valentine's Day, sweetheart. You're going to be pampered today." Scott blushed as Mitch kissed his cheek, shyly picking up his fork and beginning to eat.

As soon as Scott finished eating, Mitch took his plate downstairs and set it in the sink, then hurried back up the stairs to cuddle with Scott some more. When he arrived in their bedroom, he straddled Scott and connected their lips. Scott tensed for a moment before he realized who it was, then immediately kissed back, his heart fluttering in his chest. Mitch slowly pushed Scott down onto his back as they kissed, tilting his head to deepen it. Scott allowed a soft moan to escape his lips, and Mitch suppressed a smirk, slipping his tongue into Scott's mouth and exploring eagerly. His hands moved down to the hem of Scott's shirt, and he pulled away just to tug it off. Scott blushed as Mitch raked his eyes over his body, a smile on his lips. "You're so beautiful, darling." Scott blushed even more and wrapped his arms around his stomach, but Mitch gently pulled his arms away and bent to kiss him once more.

By the time they pulled apart, Scott was dressed in only his boxers. He whined softly and made eye contact with Mitch, reaching out to tug on his shirt, but Mitch just smirked slightly and shook his head. "No, baby. That's for later. Get dressed, I have a big day planned."

Mitch and Scott walked hand in hand along the boardwalk after they had eaten — Mitch had taken Scott to a nice restaurant, despite the blond's protests. The sun was setting, and the light glittered on the surface of the ocean just a few yards away. There were others on the boardwalk with them, but they felt like they were the only ones there. They were young and hopelessly in love.

"M-Momma, people are staring..." Scott whispered, looking around nervously and subconsciously moving closer to Mitch. Mitch just smiled and stopped, pulling Scott closer to him and slinging his arms over his neck. "Let them look," he murmured, leaning up to connect their lips. Scott kissed back, even though he could feel the other people's gazes on them. He allowed his arms to snake around Mitch's waist and pull him closer, and Mitch stood on his tiptoes to reach him better, tilting his head to deepen the kiss.

"F*ggots," someone muttered as they passed by, and Scott flinched, starting to pull away. However, Mitch held him there and made a big show of slipping his tongue into Scott's mouth, stepping closer to him. He truly didn't care.

Mitch only pulled away when someone cleared their throat, sounding very nervous. He slowly removed his arms from around Scott's next and turned to face the man, crossing his arms over his chest and raising a challenging eyebrow. "May I help you?" Scott shrunk into himself and slipped his hand into Mitch's for comfort. "Yes. You are making my customers uncomfortable," the man said, glancing over his shoulder at the restaurant behind him. Mitch drew himself up to his full height, his eyes darkening. "How?" he demanded, but still squeezed Scott's hand reassuringly. The man shifted uncomfortably, chewing his lip and looking everywhere but them. "Y-You and him were kissing, sir."

"So I can't kiss my boyfriend?" Mitch could feel himself get angrier by the second.

"You can, just not here. There are people trying to eat."

Scott noticed Mitch's anger and tugged on his hand in an effort to calm him down. Mitch sighed, but he couldn't say no to his Scotty. "Fine. We're leaving. Come on, princess, let's go get you your ice cream," he said, pulling Scott away without another word.

As soon as they were out of earshot of the man, Mitch sighed and shook his head. "I'm sorry, baby. I was hoping nothing would go wrong," he said quietly, wrapping his free arm around himself. Scott frowned slightly and nudged him gently, squeezing his hand. "Don't be sad, Mommy. I had a lot of fun." Mitch smiled tiredly up at him and stood on his tiptoes to peck his lips. "You're too good to me," he murmured, causing Scott to giggle quietly. "I love you, Momma."

"I love you too, princess."

After Scott had his ice cream, Mitch finally took Scott home — this was the part he was most excited for. As soon as they had gotten inside, they were locked in a heated make-out session, followed soon after with making love under the sheets.

Mitch brought Scott into his arms and held the blond close to his chest, kissing his hair. Scott blushed slightly at the feeling of Mitch's warm skin against his and closed his eyes, nuzzling against him and curling up. Mitch absentmindedly trailed his fingers through Scott's hair as his eyes slipped closed.

"Momma?"

"Yes, princess?"

"I love you."

"I love you too, baby."

Scott blushed more and moved closer to him, nuzzling his face in Mitch's neck. They laid in silence for a while, drifting in and out of consciousness, before Mitch finally roused himself enough to speak.

"What would you say if I asked you to marry me?"

Scott's heartbeat picked up and he peeked up at Mitch. "Y-Yes. Of course. I love you."

Mitch smiled and opened his eyes, looking down at him. "You would?"

"Yes, Mommy."

"I'll have to get on that then," Mitch murmured, allowing his eyes to close once more. "Get some sleep, princess. You've had a long day."

"Okay, Mommy. Goodnight. I love you."

"I love you too, sweetheart. Happy Valentine's Day."
