Justin’s POV:
Today is the day. I would tell Selena how I feel and I won’t chicken out this time. We were watching a movie at my house and the credits just started to roll.
“Aww, wasn’t that such a cute movie?” she smiled at me. Her smile was beautiful. Hell, everything about her was beautiful.
No, it was so stupid. ”Yeah, it was the best.” I lied. She stretched her arms before grabbing a handful of popcorn. “So whats new with you, Jay?”
“Nothing really. What about you?”
“Ya know, the usual. Wizard’s shooting everyday, concerts every weekend.” I took in a breath.
“Selena?”
She looked at me, “Yeah?”
“Uh, I don’t really know how to tell you this.” I grabbed her hand. She looked at our intertwined fingers as she muttered, “Oh, no.”
“Jay, I-” she took her hands away from mine and backed away from me. My heart dropped as I realized she didn’t like me.
“I’m sorry, I have to go. Call me later, okay?” she said, rushing to grab her coat. She walked out the door and ran to her car. I leaned my back against the couch and started sobbing.
I had just screwed everything up; and there was no way to fix it.
