"About that, I have an idea. Can you spare some time?" Kakashi said as everyone left the Hokage office as Naruto was walking around the Village until Jiraiya stopped him.
"You don't look too pleased," Jiraiya said
"Pervy Sage? What're you doing here?" Naruto said
"I hadn't seen my apprentice in a while so I thought maybe we could share a meal," Jiraiya said
"Are you treating?" Naruto said as they made it to Ichiraku Ramen
"Cripes whats with Kakashi Sensei? Here we're ready to move out any time," Naruto said
"It can't be helped there are lots of things to prepare for," Jiraiya said
"Prepare for what?" Naruto said
"One small squad isn't enough," Jiraiya said
"What do you mean by that?" Naruto said
"Listen if Itachi is defeated Sasuke and Y/n will lose their purpose in coming so we have no choice but to find a way to detain Itachi. And that will require a coordinated effort with more ninja. Right now, Kakashi has his hands full trying get this organized." Jiraiya said
"Is that how it is?" Naruto said
"But we're dealing with Itachi here. Ordinary methods won't work," Jiraiya said
"Probably not and we can't just avoid him, can we?" Naruto said
"And just bring Sasuke and Y/n back? Im sure you understand, but Sasuke and Y/n has grown powerful enough to kill Orochimaru well Y/n was the one that did kill Orochimaru," Jiraiya said
"I knw that but I made a promise to Sakura long ago. That I'd 'bring Sasuke back without fail' Its not only Sasuke Im bring back Im bring Y/n back to. And I can't go back on my word, to never give up, Determination, Thats my Ninja Way!" Naruto said
"You're as foolish as ever." Jiraiya said
"I can't help it. After all, im the apprentice of the Pervy Sage," Naruto said
"Geeze what a rude apprentice Im stuck with," Jiraiya said
"Rude? What does that mean?" Naruto said
"Exactly that you rude apprentice," Jiraiya said
"You're one to talk, Pervy Sage! You're no-good perverted old man!" Naruto said
"Here eat this to," Jiraiya said giving him a piece of meat. As Naruto ate it happily
Y/N Pov
After I gave Denka and Hina as kiss on there head as we left it was raining we all had cloaks on as we stood on an edge.
"Lets go," Sasuke said
LEAF VILLAGE
Everyone was at the Leaf gate ready to head out: Naruto,Kiba, Shino, Hinata, Sai, Sakura, Kakashi, Yamato.
"I see you've given it quite a bit of thought," Tsunade said
"Say shouldn't we have even more guys?" Naruto said
"Its not simply a matter of manpower. For this job I think two squads working together are ideal. If our targets are few in number namely one or two, having more than three squads will make us too easy to detect as well as interfere with the chain of command. And it will end up hindering our mobility," Kakashi said
"Restraining the enemy requires much more technique than mere killing. In coordinating the squads it would be wise to choose members who are accustomed to working together," Jiraiya said
"Well right now, this is the best plan," Tsunade said
"Thank you, Well we're about ready to set out, but I don't like this weather," Kakashi said
"All right! Let's go!" Naruto said
"The rain is perfect for cooling off someone so fired up," Kiba said
"Okay Im issuing the order for a mission to locate and detain Itachi Uchiha! All of you be extremely careful and carry out your duties!" Tsunade said
"Right," Everyone said as they ran off.
