"Mom doesn't drink, dad", she said.
"We don't know that", he replied.
"You don't. But I do", she insisted.
But he wouldn't listen. NO ONE cared to hear her out. Afterall she was just a naive and anguished eleven year old.

Abi just said that Brandon aka motherfucker is outside our house right now. He died 2 months ago, even Abi knows that but just to make sure I peeped out of the window and found the road clear. No cars, no humans, no Brandon.
But, Abi looked like she might faint, almost as if she saw a ghost. Neither of us had an idea on what happened to her or why she thought Brandon was outside our house.
He died in fact, dad even went to the burial. There was no way he could come back to life. Abi was really tired so, she must have imagined it.
After taking her to the window and showing her the empty road, she finally calmed down. We totally forgot about the ice packs because of this drama that it started to melt. As dad went downstairs to bring another one, I stood by Abi and helped her to brush her teeth.
Her bathroom was plant themed. An entire wall was covered with plants in small stands. It looked so amazing. Her wash basin mirror has a photo of a tiger. More like a silhouette.
After she was satisfied that her teeth were sparkling white, she finally came out and took a few seconds to look around her brand new room. Her room was a bit small, even I accept that. But, it is the most amazing modern room one could ever find.

She laid on the bed for a few minutes and after dad came and held the ice pack to her head for a few minutes, she finally got up and made her way to dad's room.
On our way, she said "I wanna sleep with both of you guys". So, we decided to go to dad's room and settle up for the night. Dad's room was like amazing. It was so huge and so so good. The big bed in the middle made it look so stylish.

After tucking Abi in, I and dad went to every window and checked if it was closed and then made sure all the security alarms were on and also if all the cameras were working.
I spent some time looking at our house. Our amazing remodeled house.
