Chapter 16 Labels!

The next day it was back to the classroom for both Mariah and Tessa. Mariah could not wait could not wait to get back to her room, were she could compare her restaurant shift's with her classes/ So she could work out when she could see Tessa again. And hoped that Tessa 's would mirror hers. I hope we get to spend the day together again and not just an hour her or there. Because we need to take the time to talk about stuff ! thought Mariah. Tessa had sent her a little text this morning wishing her well getting back to classes. Which Mariah had smiled at and replied the same message, but with a little after note hoping things lined up so they could get together. 

Tessa had dragged herself out of bed early, because was she was not only excited to be going back to classes , but she also realised that she had to tune her guitar and get her song's together that she had written during the Christmas break. I have no idea if any of these are any good ? she thought. But it will be nice to talk through them with one of the teacher's , to see if she needed to change anything of if she thought they were any good . She was also dying to get hold of a timetable so she could work out when she could see Mariah again. She also realised when they do meet up again Mariah is probably going to want to know about her liking girl's. It's probably going to be the main topic of conversation, so I hope we can get a day together again? At least I've not scared Mariah off , which was great and maybe she feels the same way as me ? Anyway I can't think about that right now I have to get to my first class. 

Later on that day , Mariah was rushing back to her accommodation . She was not looking where she was going and walked smack bang into Kevin one of her friend's on her course. He's book's went flying into the air, and he ended up on the floor . Hey watch where your going ! He shouted. Oh god ! Kevin. I am so sorry . Mariah started to pick up all his book's . "Mariah" geez I did not realise it was you, I'm sorry for shouting I did not realise it was you. Oh that's ok she smiled I deserved it. I wasn't watching where I was going . Once she'd given him back all his book's , she was just about to turn and run. Until Kevin asked her where the fire was ? What ? What is so important you have to run off ? Oh i just have to do some stuff. Err you don't get of that easy he said. It must be important for you to rush around like this ? "Mariah" come on you can trust me ! 

Can I ? Yeah ! I'm pretty good at keeping things to myself. I know we haven't been friend's for long, but I am loyal to the people I befriend. He said cheerfully . Ok! But I'd better not hear what I'm about to tell you anywhere . I pinkie swear he said as they found a bench to sit on. I was rushing back to the block because I want to check when I'm free from work said Mariah. And why was that so important, you had to slam into me ? asked Kevin. Well! I want to know if and when I have a day off with someone I've meet. Who goes to Berklee College of Music. Oh I see ! And who is he ? What's his name ? Err It's a she , and her name is Tessa. Oh ! He looked at her quizzically. What ? said Mariah. Nothing ! Nothing ! He said quickly. 

"Kevin" If you have something to say about me wanting to see a woman ? Then say it. Err well ok. Have you ever felt this way before ? Like the look on your face tells a lot. What do you mean ? asked Mariah. Well just that little sentence about you wanting to see if you have a day off , to spend it with her your eye's and face just light up. He smiled at her. I'm pleased for you he said. Can I ask you a question ? Sure said Mariah. Is she your girlfriend ? No! No! Mariah started to blush. We've not even been on a date or even been down that route. All I know is I want to get to know her better. Mariah smiled at him. Ooh and I know she likes girl's ! Wow! How did you find that out ? asked Kevin. Well she sort of let it slip out, when she was going back to her accommodation after we'd spent the day together. You've already spent the day together ? Yes ! Yesterday! Oh you do have it bad , if your rushing around to work out when you can see her again. I guess so said Mariah. Although I am a bit weary, as I've not been able to have a boyfriend or girlfriend because my father wouldn't let me.
