Chapter 18 What's Happening ?

The very next morning it was business as usual for both Mariah and Tessa . They both had school then work in the evening, Friday's were their busiest times! It was after midnight when they finally both got back to their accommodation's. Tessa sat down on the end of her bed, absolutely exhausted. She pulled off her work clothes and headed for the shower. Where she stood under the cascade of water for ages. When she stepped out she felt so much better, she was to tired and it was to late to make herself something to eat. So she just got into bed butt naked because she couldn't even be bothered to find herself some PJ's. Mariah was very much the same , except she'd had Tessa on her mind all day ! I was expecting at least a text to say, why did you kiss me ? My answer to that may not have been the answer she wanted though, but there again I just felt this draw towards her. She'd texted Shelby during the day and told her what had happened. Oh my fucking god ! Was the answer she got back. Which made her smile. I still don't know what is happening to me ! Shelby said I should just take things really slowly and see where they go. So that's what I shall do. I still want to talk to Tessa about stuff.

She went over to her calendar on the wall . Oh look I have this Sunday off ! I wonder if Tessa has  too? She sent her a quick text before getting into bed. Hi It's me ! Before I head off to bed I was just wondering if you are off this Sunday ? I'm off all day, so hope we can work something out ? Mariah x Tessa never read the message because obviously she was already sound asleep. Once Mariah had settled herself down after not getting a reply from Tessa straight away, Mariah fell fast asleep too. Saturday morning was always a lie in for Tessa, she didn't have to be in work until the afternoon and she'd work until close then. She peered out from underneath the sheet to see what the time was . Augh ! She sighed . It's only 7am ! But she needed a wee so she got up and headed for the bathroom, once in there her stomach started to rumble. Oh god I'm hungry she thought heading for the communal kitchen, she did herself some toast and tea and took it back to her room. She then picked up her phone and realised she'd had it switched off, so that it could get fully charged. She turned it back on and it soon buzzed at her straight away. First message was from Cindy and Carl, she'd had to talk to them about Mariah kissing her ! Wow ! That's amazing , she obviously has an attraction to you ? Just go one step at a time. Love you lots C+C x 

The second was from Mariah. Tessa looked at the time she had sent it. Half  past midnight ! No wonder I wasn't awake she thought. She read it quickly and then like Mariah she had a calendar on the wall, so she could keep track of everything. Right tomorrow what am I doing ? She smiled to herself. When she read what she had put on the calendar. Day off ya ! Ask if Mariah is free ? Oh well Mariah asked me first in her message. She went back to her phone . Hi ! Sorry I missed your text . I was out for the count ! Tomorrow is also good for me . But can I at least ask if we can have a lie in until at least eleven ? Tessa x Before she realised what she had written she had sent the message. No! No! No! She thought when she reread the message. It sounds like we're in bed together ! She was mortified . I have to send another message ! But before she could a message came back. Hi! It's ok. I thought you might of been asleep after I sent it. It's wonderful your free tomorrow too. Oh and I have no problem with a lie in until eleven with you !! Mariah x . Tessa smiled at the reply. Does she really mean it ? she thought . She sent a quick message back. Meet at usual place at eleven ? Looking forward to it . Tessa x . 

After sending the message she drank her tea and eat her toast, and then climbed back into bed to try and get some more sleep for a couple of hour's. Mariah was full of the joys of spring when Tessa replied to her message, to say that she was free on Sunday too. She decided to plan the activity's this time around. She had decided to do the old trolley tour and then maybe have a hot chocolate at La Burdick Chocolates. Someone had recommended both to her to do, so no time like the present. She'd also woken up way to early, so after a bowl of cereal she tried sleeping for a while longer. But was just to excited to see Tessa again, this time though she was determined this time to talk about everything. Because she couldn't go back to sleep she got up and went for a refreshing walk in the fresh air , thinking about what she wanted to talk to Tessa about. She came back a couple of hour's later and fell on her bed exhausted. When she woke It was time for her to have a shower and a bite to eat and then head for work. She was on at two and would finish around ten if she was lucky, or maybe sooner if they went a bit quiet.
