Two gods in one day.

We're standing in front of hades on his thrown room.

"You are brave to come here after what you have done to me. Or perhaps you are merely foolish," says Hades.

"Lord and uncle I come to you with two requests," says my brother.

"Arrogant child. As if you have not already taken enough, now you would ask for more. Speak while ponder on what manner you will die," says hades.

That got very dark but we're undeterred.

"There will be a war among the god uncle," I say.

"It would be kind of ... bad. Let me return the master bolt to Olympus and I'll end this. There must be other ways to grow your kingdom," my brother says.

"Why would I want a war, godling? For my kingdom? The dead will come to me without intervention. Did you not see the sprawl in the field of asphodel? It is I who has been wronged!" Says Hades.

"But you stole Zeus's bolt," Percy demands.

"Lies! Your father may have fooled Zeus but I am not so stupid. I see through his plan," says hades.

My brother looked shocked at the.

"It was you who pilfered the bolt as well as my helm of darkness," hades says pointing at me and my twin, "had I not sent my fury to Yancy Academy Poseidon might have succeeded. Your father cannot blackmail me into supporting him. I will have my helm back!"

"I'm getting really tired of people calling me a-" my brothers words stop.

He had unzipped his backpack to reveal the master bolt.

"Percy!" I yell shocked .

One of us really was the thief. My hands shake a little even though it incredibly hot in the underworld.

"Phoebe I swear it's not- I didn't-" he stutters.

I gulp looking away trying to rest easy myself. Now that I'm thinking about he couldn't have stole it. I've barely left his side even before this quest.

"I don't understand how," says Percy.

"Do not attempt to disguise your purpose. I knew if I was patient you two would come to bargain with me. To bargain for her," hades says holding out his hand showing an image of our mom.

Percy grasps my hand and squeezes it tightly.

"Mom," I choke.

"She is not dead. Not yet. I will release her if you return my helm. You can also leave the bolt as payment fir the insult that has been done to me," says Hades.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" I asks Percy.

"That we've been set up," says Percy.

"So what do we do now?" Asks Annabeth.

"I might have an idea," says Percy.

"Good because I don't," says Annabeth.

This is scary following Percy and Annabeth not having a plan.

"Phoebe the pearsls," says Percy holding out his hand.

"Ah yes the pearls, how my brother loves his little tricks," says Hades, "but there are only four. Which of your friends will you trade for your mother? Or will you trade yourself?"

I was about to step forward and volunteer myself but my brother grabbed my wrist.

"I'm sorry mom. I'll find a way I promise," says Percy.

"No! I'll go," I say but it was too late.

Percy slams his hand on the ground. Bubbles firm around us.

"What's going on?!" Annabeth yells.

"I don't know?" Says Percy.

The bubbles float higher as hades monsters attack us

"You can not run from me!" Yells hades.

A flash of light and a weird twisting feeling later we're in the ocean.

"How'd we end up here?" Asks Annabeth.

"What belongs to the sea, will always return to the sea," Percy and I say in unison. We shoot little glares at each other but don't hold them for too long.

"Does anybody know what's going on?" Asks grover.

"Hades isn't even the thief! We came all this way for nothing!" Says my Brother.

"Someone else swiped the bolt and hades helm and framed Percy and I because were Poseidon's never-shoulda-been-born-kids," I say.

"Poseidon will take the rap for everything, and by sundown today all three brothers will be at war," says Annabeth.

"Who would want war that bad?" Asks Grover.

I hear a motorcycle behind us. I turn to see Ares.

"Gee I wonder,"says my brother.

"Hey punks, you two were suppose to die in the underworld," says Ares gesturing to me and my twin.

"You tricked us. You stole the helm and the bolt," says Percy.

"He couldn't have. Gods can't take each other's symbols of power," I say.

"Only half-bloods can do the errands," he says.

"Who then?!" My brother asks.

"Doesn't matter. What matters is the impending war efforts. See, even if just one of you died down there then old seaweed has beef with hades for killing one of his precious children. Corpse breath ends up with the master bolt, so Zeus gets mad at him. Meanwhile hades wouldn't know who took his helm so he'd be mad at both his brothers. A nice little slugfest," says Ares.

Suddenly I was really thankful Percy made me come. If I had stayed it would have been instant death resulting in what Ares just described.

My brother talks to Ares for a minute.

"-but why not keep the bolt for yourself? Hades would have killed is anyway, so why send it to him?" My brother asks.

"Why didn't I keep...? Yeah.... With that kind of firepower,... I didn't want trouble," he says.

"Your lying. You didn't order the theft, and sending the bolt to hades wasn't your idea. Someone is ordering you around soldier. Maybe whatever is in that pit we saw," says Percy.

"I take orders from no one," yells Ares chucking my brother about a foot across the beach.

"Percy!" I yell running over to him.

"Are you alright?"I ask.

"Sure -wheeze- never better," he says

"Ares is strong but that's all he is. You can win if you have a plan like capture the flag," I say
