I walk down the stairs to find Leo. We were getting ready to hold a meeting. He was in his crawl space where's he's been working for some reason. This is Calypso related, I'm sure if it.

"Leo!" I yell, "We need you."

"Talk to the pants, Phoebe! Cause the hands are busy!" Leo yells.

"I am not talking to the pants. Meeting in the mess hall. We're almost to Olympia," I say.

"Yeah find I'll be there in a second."

"What are you doing in there anyways? You've been poking around in the hull for days."

"Routine maintenance," he mumbles.

"This is calypso related isn't it?"

Leo chokes a little, "I don't-"

"Leo, I've seen calypso heartsick before. Percy met her a few years back. He didn't want to talk to Annabeth, one of his other crushes, about another crush. At that time there were like three crushes, but anyways please don't try and go back. You can't. Its impossible," I say.

"It's not. I have to try," Leo says.

"Leo-" I start.

"Hey while your out there I have this itch right below-" he says.

"Fine I'm leaving," I yell walking back upstairs.

I sit down to eat breakfast. I had a stack of blue waffles. Percy had his stack of blue pancakes but Annabeth was harassing him about his amount of syrup.

"I'm a poseidon kid. I can't drown an neither can my pancakes," Percy says.

I was thankful to see Leo walk in. I was basically sitting in a room full of couples. Frank and hazel were sitting close together looking at map and nurse Piper was fussing over Jason wound.

"What's up guys?" Leo says.

The intercom crackles. Buford's mini hedge yells over the speakers, "PUT SOME CLOSE ON!"

Everyone jumps. Hazel was about five feet away from the table, Percy spills syrup in his orange juice, Jason awkwardly wriggles back into his tshirt after having it off to tend to his wound, and frank turns into a bulldog.

"I thought you were getting rid of that thing," says Piper.

"Buford's just saying good morning. He loves his hologram! Besides we all miss coach and frank makes a cute bulldog," says Leo.

Frank morphs back, "Just sit down. We have things to talk about."

"So..." Jason says, "We're going to stay airborne and drop anchor as close as we can to Olympia. It's further inland than I'd like but we do g have much choice. According to Juno, we have to find the goddess if victory and um.... Subdue her."

An uncomfortable silence looms over the group.

Percy takes a sip of his syrup orange juice. He seems ok with it but I'm not surprised, "I'm cool with fighting the occasional goddess, but isn't Nike one of the good ones? I like victory. I can't get enough of it."

Little cocky but also not surprised by that.

Annabeth drums her fingers in the table, "it does seem weird. I understand why Nike would be in Olympia- the home if the Olympics. Contestants sacrificed to her there for like twelve hundred years right?"

"Almost until the end of the Roman Empire," Frank says, "The Romans called her Victoria, but same difference. Everybody loved her. Who doesn't like to win? Not sure why we have to subdue her."

Jason frowns, "All I know... the ghoul Antinous said victory runs rampant in Olympia. Junk warned us that we could never heal the rift between the camps unless we defeat victory."

Leo face lifts, "Guys, do you remember what her kids were like at Camp Half-blood?"

Everyone but Frank and Hazel nods.

"Oh yah," says Percy.

"He's got a point," I say, "Those kids in cabin seventeen- super competitive. When we play capture the flag, they're worse than Ares cabin. No offense Frank."

Frank shrugs, "so your saying Nike has a dark side?"

"Her kids sure do," I say, "they never turn down a challenge. They have to be number one at everything. If there mom is that intense..."

"Guys!" Piper exclaims, "If all the gods are split between their different aspects then the goddess of victory-"

"She'll be really conflicted," says Annabeth, "She'd want one side or another to win. She'll literally be fighting herself."

"But we don't want one side or another to win," says Hazel, "We've got to get the Roman's and Greeks on the same side."

"Maybe that's the problem," says Jason, "If the goddess of victory is running rampant torn between herself she might make it impossible to bring the two camps together."

"Maybe she's like Ares," says Percy, "That dude radiates anger. He can start s fight by just walking into a room. If Nike radiates competitive vibes she could aggravate the whole Greek vs Roman rivalry big time."

"If that's the case we can't let her pin us against each other. We should send a landing team. Two Roman and Two Greek," says Frank.

"I think Frank is right but we have to be careful. We don't want to make her any more unstable," says Annabeth.

"I'll go," says Piper.

"Not this time Piper. Nike is all about competition and in a way Aphrodite is too. Nike might see you as a threat," says Annabeth.

Piper nods, "who should go then?"

"Phoebe or Percy can't go with Jason. Jupiter and Poseidon is a bad combination. Nike could start a fight there easily," says Annabeth.

"What about Percy and Phoebe?" Asks Piper.

I thought it was good.

"Absolutely not," says Annabeth.

"Why?" Asks Jason, "they barely ever fight."

"But trust me they hold grudges. When they put their minds to it. They fought the whole time we were in the labyrinth," says Annabeth.

"That was different he was being unreasonable," I say.

"It not my fault you had a secret boyfriend. I had ever right to be mad at you!" Percy says.

"Yah you did, but I poured my heart into an apology to you and you told me to go away!" I say.

"Then i apologized and you instead go with Nico into the labyrinth! If you had just told me-"

"I rest my case. This was a solid few years ago. Nike could easily dig up some pent up anger they have," says Annabeth, "also not me and Frank. Mars and areas would be bad too."

"Okay," Leo says, "how about me, and Phoebe since she more level headed than Percy for the Greeks ."

"That's not true!" Says Percy.

We all ignore him.

"And Frank and Hazel for the Roman's. Is that the most non competitive team or what?," Finishes Leo.

"It could work," says Frank, "I mean no combination is perfect but Poseidon, mars, Pluto, and Hephaestus... no major antagonism there."

"And hopefully we can find Apollo and Artemis before we run out of time. Juno said the twins might be willing to help us," says Jason.

"A lot of unanswered question and a lot of land to cover," says Frank.

"First things first," says Annabeth, "You guys have to find Nike and subdue her. I still don't understand how you defeat the war goddess who control victory. Seems impossible."

"We'll see about that," says Leo with a smile, "let me get my collection of grenades and I'll meet you guys in deck.
