The five of us get ready to go on the quest. Quest are usually four people but Annabeth pleaded to be able to bring an extra. We're at the base of the rock preparing to venture in.

I'm standing not for my brother when Travis come up to me. He pulls me in and kisses me.

"My brother is right there," I say to him in a whisper when we pull away.

"Conner told me you needed a push. Now you can start the conversation," he whisper back.

I was so thankful. I lean back in for another kiss. I quickly realize I have to face my brother.
Travis lets go and tells me bye. I shyly walk back over to my book.

"What the Hades was that?" He asks.

"Travis and I may or may not be dating. We also may or may not have been dating for about  six months," I mumble.

"And you didn't tell me?" He asks hurt.

"I didn't know how. I still didn't know how but Travis gave me a ... um... little push," I say.

"I don't even care that your dating him. I care that you waited so long to tell me," he says.

That may have been the worse he could have said. That's the reason I didn't want to tell him.

"There is no time to delay. We will erect defense here as best we can. But I need not remind you that it is much more preferable that, Luke's attack never comes. I offer one last word of caution: it may not be only navigation that our enemy seeks. They have the pieces of the titan lord Kronos, taken from Tartarus itself. To resurrect him fully, he will need a new form," says Chiron, " Daedalus is histories greatest inventor. He created the labyrinth, but also much more. Automations, thinking machines, Kronos may wish for Daedalus to craft him a body."

"We'll get to him or dye trying," I say.

"Precisely what concerns me. May the gods be with you," says Chiron.

"You ready?" Asks Percy.

"As I'll ever be," says Annabeth.
