Jason and Piper get off the boat to go talk to Hercules. They needed to get his permission to pass. The rest of waited kind awkwardly in case something happened.

Leo was below deck working in the engine like always. Annabeth and Percy were wrapped up in each other's eyes as usual and Frank was trying to help Hazel with her sea sickness. That left me.

I considered going down to engine room with Leo but I feel like I would have been a bit of a nuisance to him.

I see a shimmer of light next to me. The Iris messages wavers for a second before becoming clear.

"Hey. You good to call now or are you like about to die per the usual?" Travis asks.

"Naw, actually at the moment if I'm going to die from anything it would be boredom," I say looking around the deck.

"Fun. I heard about the Romans," he says.

Frank and Hazel look up at me.

"Not you guys. The army of Roman's," I say to them. They turn away and continue what they're doing, "but yah. I'm worried about camp. We all are really. You better not die. Or at least not without me, but preferably no dying."

"Hey same to you. If you die on this quest I don't know how I will live. You know, without you whining and crying and ...we'll that's about all you do," he says with a sarcastic grin.

"Shut up or I'll have the Pegasi poop in your bed," I say looking at him.

"Ok see that's scary," he says.

Leo come running up deck with his face covered in ash.

"Pheebs can you- oh hi Travis- never mind," he says looking for someone else to do whatever it is he needs.

"No what?" Travis says, "I can't keep you. This is more important."

I let out a sigh. Sometimes I wish he wouldn't say that. I mean we're important to.

"Um ok... pheebs can you come below deck and help hold a price for the engine?"

"Yah I guess. Um bye Travis. I love you, talk later, ok?" I say.

"Hey love you too. Bye," he says as the message fades.

I follow Leo down to the engine.

"Sorry I had to tear you away," he says.

"No it's cool. We can talk later," I sigh.

"Ok..." he says like he can see through my lie, "I just assumed you were kind of bored and I needed some help. We're kind of third wheels up there."

"More like seventh wheels," I say.

"Two seven wheels. That's a new one I think," he says cracking a grin.

I laugh a little. It always surprises me how much he's like Travis. Personality wise anyhow. It makes me feel a little better but also makes me miss Travis even more.

I help Leo for the rest of the day fixing the oars and getting the ship ready to fly. By the time I get back on deck I was covered in grease and dirt. And I didn't hate it per say.

"Dirty suits you well," says Percy.

"Thank you," I say giving a half hearted curtsy.

We see Jason and Piper come flying in. As soon as Jason touched down on the deck of the ship. Leo gets ready to get it in the air. I helped pull the anchor up while Jason summoned winds so strong it pushed us into the sky. Percy sent a ten foot tall wave crashing down onto Hercules.

By the time the god had gotten back on his feet the Argo ll was already sailing through the clouds, above the Mediterranean.
