I was hoping the ancient lands wouldn't be as bad as we heard. But it was almost instant. I noticed the difference immediately.

Several times an hour, something attacks the ship. A flock of flesh eating Stymphian birds swooped out of the night sky, and Festus torched them. Storm spirits swirled around the mast and Jason blasted them away with lightning. While coach hedge was having dinner on the foredeck a wild Pegasus appeared out of nowhere and stampeded coach's enchiladas. I had to do a little work to get it out.

I was laying in bed unable to sleep. I hear a knock at our door. Percy was tossing in bed. I assumed he was having a nightmare so I'd have to deal with that after this.

I open the door and see Jason.

"Sorry to wake you Phoebe, but it's Percy's turn for watch," he says.

"Ok," I say turning to our bed, "wake up!"

I hit him with a pillow again. Percy turns to look at me.

"I hate you so- hi Jason- I hate you,"Percy says.

"We've set down in water. Your turn," Jason says.

My brother lets out an ugh. He goes down the latter almost falling of the it. The two of them stagger out of the room both looking exhausted. I never got to ask about what Percy was dreaming about. It was defiantly a demigod dream if I'd ever seen one.

Sorry for these short chapters. I'm on vacation and just trying to get one a chapter out a day at least. Thanks for reading💖🔱✨🌊🗡
