When Piper and Frank get back from searching Pylos for the poison we all meet on the foredeck. Mostly because Percy and I were suppose to be keeping watch on a Red Sea monster that kept swimming around the ship.

"That thing is really red," says Percy, "I wonder if it cherry flavored?"

"Why don't you jump in and find out?" I ask.

"How bout no," he replies.

"Anyways," says Frank, "according to my Pylos cousins, the chained go we're looking for in Sparta is my dad.... Uh ares. Apparently the Spartans keep a chained up statue of him in their city so the spirit of war would never leave them."

"Oo-kay," Leo says, "The Spartans we're freaks."

"Leo, we have victory tied up downstairs. We can't talk," I say.

He shrugs.

Jason leans against the ballista, "onto Sparta then. But how does a chained gods heartbeat help us find a cure for dying?"

"Piper was telling me about some stuff she'd seen in her dagger," says Hazel.

Piper didn't respond. She was kind of looking off into the distance.

"Piper?" Asks Hazel again.

"Sorry what?" Says Piper.

"I asked about your vision in your knife," hazel says.

"Uh... right," Piper says. She unsheathes the knife. It still gives me the creeps after the nymphaeum, "I um... I don't see anything right now. But one vision keeps popping up. Annabeth and I are exploring some ruins-"

"Ruins!" Leo says, "now we're talking. How many ruins could be in Greece?"

"Quiet," snaps Annabeth, "Piper, do you think it was Sparta?"

"Maybe," Piper says, "Anyways.... Suddenly we're in this dark place. A cave. We're staring at this bronze statue. In the vision I touch the statues face and flames swirl around us. Tats all I saw."

"Flames," Franks scowls, "I don't like that vision."

"Me neither," says Percy.

"If the thing engulfs people in flames, shouldn't we send Leo?" I ask.

"Love you too," he says.

"You know what I mean. You're immune. Or hell give me one if those water grenades I'll go. Ares and have had our differences before," I say.

Percy grunts and I hit him the back of the head.

"If Piper saw the two of us going then that's who should go," says Annabeth, "We'll be alright. There's always a way to survive."

"Not always," says Hazel.

Hazel being the one of us who's come back from the dead really harshed the already gloomy mellow.

Frank hold out the vial of Pylosian mint, the poison he'd found with Piper, "What about this stuff? After the house of hades, I kind of hoped we were done drinking poison."

"Store it securely in the hold," says Annabeth, "for now, that's all we can do. Once we figure out this chained god situation, we'll head to island of Delos."

"Curse if Delos," I say, "That sounds fun."

"Hopefully Apollo will be there," says Annabeth, "Delos was his home island. He's the god of medicine. He should be able to advise us."

The cherry flavored sea serpent spewed steam. I look at Percy.

"Yeah, it's defiantly checking us out," he says, "Maybe we should take air for a while."

"Airborne it is. Festus will you do the honors?" Says Leo.

The bronze dragon clacks and hums. The engine starts. The Argo ll rises into the sky. I still hate flying.

"We should teach Sparta by the morning," says Leo,  "And remember to come by the mess hall later folks. Cause chef Leo's making his three alarm tofu tacos!"
