Chapter 3

Danielle's POV

Friday

I woke up and saw it was 7 o'clock so I got up and went downstairs to go eat breakfast.

"Good morning" my parents said in unison

"Good morning" I replied

I sat down on at the table and I started eating breakfast with my parents. We had many conversations but once I saw what time it was it read 7:50 and I had to get to school at 8. Oh no.

"Honey, it's okay you're not going to school" my mom told me

"Really?" I asked

"Yeah, your father and I agreed that you would return to school on Monday" she said

"Thank you guys so much" I replied

"Later today, your father and I are going to your school to get your homework" she said

"Okay, sounds great so I don't get behind" I replied

-Later that day-

"Honey, we got your homework from school" my mom said

"Thanks, I'll get started on it right now" I replied

"Actually, you and I are going to the mall to find you a dress for tonight" she said

"Okay sounds great I'll go get ready" I replied

"Okay I'll be waiting for you downstairs" she said

I went up to my room and took a shower. After I got out, I put on some clothes and went downstairs.

-After getting ready-

"Okay mom I'm ready" I said

"All right lets get going so we can come back and get ready" she replied

-At the mall-

We had gone to many different stores but I had not found a dress. We went to Kay's and my mom bought me a set that came with a necklace and earrings. I decided on going to Forever 21. When I got there I found the perfect dress it was a skater dress and the color was wine. I also found some black simple heels. After that we went to go pay and then went to a salon to get my hair, makeup and nails done. (Image at top)

Jack's POV

*Ring ring* I answered my phone and it was my mom calling me.

"Hello?" I asked

"Jack get home right now did you not remember about the dinner we are going to" she said

"Mom I'm so sorry I totally forgot I'll be there in no time" I answered

"Ok bye" she replied

I was at Cams house which wasn't too far from my house.

"Cam I have to go I'll see you later" I said

"Ok bye" he replied

I started walking to my house but I started running because it was 5:27 and it began at 6 o'clock. I got home at 5:34 and went to my room to take a shower and change. After I got out of the shower, I saw a suit laying on my bed with a note on it:

Wear the suit for dinner.
                             - Love mom

I guess I had no other choice than to wear this suit. After I finished putting on the suit I looked at myself in the mirror and thought to myself: I look handsome. I'm too good for anyone.

Danielle's POV

-At home-

When we got home it was 5:00 pm so I had enough time to get ready.  I slid on my dress and put on my heels and the jewelry my mom had boughten me at the mall.

-After finishing getting ready-

"Danielle it's time to go!!" Screamed my dad from downstairs

Jack's POV

"Jack hurry up we are about to leave!!" My mom screamed from downstairs

I hurried up and put some cologne on and fixed my hair. When I got downstairs my father handed me a box. I opened it and saw a gold watch. It must've cost him a lot of money.

"Really dad?" I asked him

"Of course son" my dad replied

I gave him a hug and thanked him. After that we all got in the car and headed to the restaurant.
