Chapter 27

Jack's POV

I noticed that Danielle walked out of the room so I went to go check up on her. I saw her in the kitchen on the phone.

When the call ended, she began sobbing her eyes out.

I ran up to her and hugged her.

"Baby what's wrong,"

"Jack the test came back..."

Danielle's POV

"Well the test came back.....negative. I'm sorry,"

When I heard that I immediately ended the call and threw my phone somewhere.

I began sobbing my eyes out.

A few days ago, I began thinking about how our family would be and I got excited. I knew that I was ready to be a mother. I was ready to begin my family.

And now, I get this news.

My heart is hurting. I was so ready to begin a family. Jack was so excited thinking about forming a family. And I'm not pregnant.

Someone walked in and hugged me.

I knew it was Jack from his strong cologne.

"Baby why are you crying?" He asked.

"Jack the test came back....negative,"

Jack's POV

"Jack the test came back negative," she said as she began sobbing.

I pulled her in for a hug as I comforted her in my arms.

I knew how much she was hurting because I felt the same pain.

My heart was in pain.

"Baby it's for the best," I said

"Maybe," she said as she looked up into my watery eyes.

"I'm sorry Jack," she said and began sobbing again.

"For what baby girl,"

"I failed you. I know how much you wanted to start a family. This was all just false hope that I gave you,"

"Hey babe don't say that, it doesn't mean we can't try again,"

We just stayed there snuggled up while sitting on the floor.

Danielle's POV

"I think we should get back, they might be getting worried,"

"It doesn't matter. The only thing that matters if you're okay,"

"I am lets go," I said as I stood up and gave him my hand.

We made our way back. Everyone was there on the couch waiting for us. Surprisingly they weren't drunk yet.

"Hey babe are you okay?" Andrea asked

"Yeah we just talked. But common lets get this game started," I said as I poured myself a drink seeing it as the only thing to make this pain go away.

I knew Jack felt the same so we both took a shot.

Everyone sat down and we all began playing the game.

20 minutes into the game

"Never have I ever lost my virginity," I said knowing that I was lying. I just wanted to see who would drink.

It didn't surprise me that everyone drank. But it did surprise me that little miss Avery, drank and also did Hayes.

They were only a year younger but still.
(I decided on making Hayes and Avery only one year younger, so there juniors)

Nash didn't seem to care.

"Hey I thought we couldn't lie," Carter said

"Fine," I said as I drank a shot. It burned my throat but I didn't care.

All through the night, we just drank and laughed.

It warmed my heart how we all got along. It felt like we made our own family of friends.

"I dare all of us to go to sleep," Shawn said as he was still not drunk.

We all whined but then we all made our ways to our rooms.

Shawn had to carry Alexa because she was a little too drunk.

Everyone stumbled there way to their room.

Jack and I walked in and just collapsed on the bed. We were too tired and exhausted that we didn't mind changing into our pajamas. We basically just slept naked except with our undergarments.
