Chapter 44

Danielle's POV

Christmas Eve Morning

It was finally Christmas Eve.

I decided to wake up and surprise Jack by bringing him breakfast to bed. It was currently 8:25. I got up and took a 15 minute shower.

When I finished, I washed my teeth and put on some sweat pants and a t-shirt.

I walked downstairs and made pancakes and bacon. I put some diced strawberries on top of the pancakes and drizzled some syrup on top. I got out two cups and made hot chocolate.

I placed both plates and cups on a holder and took it upstairs.

When I opened the door, I noticed that Jack was still sound asleep.

With care, I placed the holder with our breakfast on the side table and jumped on the bed.

Instantly, Jack woke up and looked up at me with a smile.

"Good morning babe!" I yelled with excitement.

I sat down on the bed, next to Jack and pulled him in for a hug and a kiss.

"I love you," he said

"I love you,"

We kissed one more time before beginning to eat.

Nash's POV

Since Taylor and I don't live together, I went over to her house and brought her breakfast.

She had already given me a key so I walked in.

When I opened her bedroom door, I saw that she was still asleep.

I walked over to her and placed a kiss on her lips. She quickly woke up and smiled at me.

"Good morning babe, I brought you breakfast,"

"Aww babe you didn't have to," she said as she got up got dressed into some sweats and a t-shirt.

Before we walked downstairs, I picked her up and carried her into the kitchen where I handed her a roses and a box of  chocolates.

"Oh my god babe this is amazing, I love you so much Nash!"

"I love you too Taylor,"

We began eating our pancakes and talking.

When we finished, she went upstairs and took a shower.

While she was in there, I texted Danielle to go along with our plan.

After 10 minutes she came out and began getting dressed.

Taylor's POV

Each day I got weaker and weaker.

But I fought through the pain to make Nash happy.

I was currently going to get ready because well it's Christmas Eve.

My parents never called or came home, typical.

While I washed my teeth, I got a text from Danielle asking me if I wanted to go get our nails done today.

I wasn't sure if I should say yes or no. I kinda wanted to spend my whole day with Nash.

I decided to ask him.

"Nash, Danielle asked me if I wanted to go with her to get our nails done. I don't know what to tell her,"

"Babe you should go. And it's okay, I'll see you later," he said as he kissed my cheek.

"Thanks babe," I said before saying yes to Danielle.

She told me to be ready by 4.

It was currently 2:27.

Nash and I decided on watching a movie.

We picked a movie called "Holiday in Handcuffs". I knew it would be entertaining because Mario Lopez was in this movie.

An hour and a half later

It was 3:58 and the movie had finally finished.

I fixed my hair a little since Danielle was picking me up later.

As if on cue, Danielle arrives.

I say bye to Nash before going outside and walking into her car.

We make our way to the mall and begin shopping.

Two hours and a half later

We had just finished shopping and now we were finally getting our hair, makeup and nails done.

Danielle convinced me of getting my hair makeup done and I agreed.

We finished about two hours later.

Danielle and I got in the car and drove back to my house.

I got out and said thank you before walking inside my empty house.

"Nash!" I yelled.

I didn't get any response so I walked towards my room.

When I opened my door, I saw.....
