Tears cascade down my cheeks as I read through the comments. I know Brandon told me not to listen to the haters but I can't stop myself from reading more and more comments.

You're not pretty enough to date Brandon.

How could he ever like her?

I bet he get's paid to date her lol

I dont understand why people say such mean things? They don't even know me yet they judge me and they hurt me so much. I keep telling myself that it isn't true, but a small part of me thinks that Brandon only dates me because he feels bad.

"Tammy?" A soft voice calls from my bedroom door.

I quickly wipe my tears, "Brandon, hey."

He rushes over to sit beside me.

"Why are you crying?"

"I'm not," I lie.

He sighs, "You can tell me."

"Why are you dating me?'

He looks taken aback by the question, "Well, besides the fact that I love you, because I see myself having a future with you. You make me smile and laugh like no one else has before. You give me purpose and the second I see you I already feel better. I want to protect you, and I never want to see you cry. You're so freaking beautiful and perfect to me. Please don't cry."

"Do you mean all that?"

"Yes, I do. Every single word."

I smile and hug my sweet boyfriend.

"Now come on," He says, "We're going on a date."

"But I look like crap."

"No, you look adorable," he tells me while kissing my cheek.

"Fine."

We start walking down the street with our fingers laced together.

Finally, we stop at a small ice-cream shop.

The two of us order what we want.

"Two mint-chocolate ice cream cones, please," Brandon tells the cashier.

"Coming right up."

Brandon gets money out to pay.

"Wait B, I can pay for myself."

"Nope. I'm paying for us."

"You don't have to."

"But I want to," he winks at me and hands the cashier his money.

We get our cones and sit down.

The next hour is spent with laughs and happy memories.

"Thank you so much Brandon. You truly are the best boyfriend a girl could ever have."

"No worries cutie. I'm always here to make sure you have a smile on your face."
