The outfit labeled Melody is the outfit you're wearing in the beginning.

I wrote this some time ago, but never finished it or published it. Sooooooo..... here you guys go because why not.

You are the youngest daughter of Ursula, but you had been abandoned when you were younger. Triton had found you in the sea right before the barrier was put up. He raised you as his own granddaughter with the help of Ariel and Eric. You had been homeschooled because they had to keep an eye on you so you didn't become like Ursula. They changed your physical features to match Ariel to make it seem as if you were her daughter instead of Ursula's daughter. It would have lasted for a long time, but you have magic powers just like your mother. You have become stronger than her as well as Triton. At the age of ten you became strong even to overpower physical manipulation. Triton entrusted FairyGodmother with your secret which helped for five more years, but your powers were growing out of hand. Triton and FairyGodmother combined their powers to create a necklace that made you powerless. You weren't surprised or mad that they restrained your powers. It is better for others, especially those around you.

"(Y/n) are you sure you want to start school today? We can postpone it one more day." You look at your mother, Ariel, with a soft smile. "Mom. I'll be fine. I think you're more nervous about this than I am." Ariel nods as she lets out a sigh. "You're right my little guppy." You looked at yourself in the mirror. You wear a dress that has a white top with a cute design, a black elastic waistband, a short pink bottom with pink flats, a blue bow, a shell necklace and sea earrings. You looked exactly like Melody looked when she started Auradon Prep. "Mom... Do I have to wear what Melody did on her first day?" Ariel didn't seem to hear you as a honking noise coming from outside. "It's here!" Your mother hugged you tightly from behind. "Have a good day my little guppy." You nod as you grab your things. You walked downstairs to the front door with your mother. Your father stood at the front door holding it open. "I can't believe that you're actually starting school." You smile at Eric. "Dad I'll be fine, so don't worry about me." You walk over to him and hug him from the side before walking outside to the limo. Your bags were put into the truck of the limo with some other people's things. The door is opened for you. You look at your parents before getting into the back of the limo to see three other kids. "Oh look a pretty pink princess." You could hear the sass in every word the girl with blue braided locks said. You look at her, but you hold your tongue. The two boys chuckled softly. "Uma, ye think the other girls at Auradon are like her?" You looked at the boy dressed in red. He is also holding a hook. Pirates... I guess it could be worst. I could be alone to worry about school. "Most likely since it is a school for princesses and princes." The girl, Uma, responded to the hook boy. The other boy looked at you. "I'm Gil, son of Gaston." You look at Gil and nod. "I'm (Y/n), the adopted daughter of Ariel and Eric." This gained the other's attention. "Adopted?" You look out the window of the limo and nodded. Everyone got confused whenever you told them you were adopted. You are a spitting image of Ariel, but it is all a lie. Your hair is naturally blueish teal while your eyes are (e/c) instead of auburn red locks and sea blue-green eyes. "You look just like Ariel. How aren't you her daughter?" You stayed quiet as you fiddled with the shell necklace you have on. You didn't feel like talking about it which Uma picked up on. She started talking to the boys about something else to get off the subject that you didn't want to talk about.

The limo ride felt like it took forever, but it was only fifteen minutes long. Once at the school the four of you were met with a meeting committee or whatever they called it. You didn't care. Prince, well King now, Ben introduced the four of you after you all exited the limo and got your things. Ben looked at you and noticed how uncomfortable you felt about this situation. You've never liked situations where you were the center of attention. Ben gently messes up your hair. You slightly glare at him. "Relax (Y/n)." You fixed your hair as you stuck your tongue out at him. That's when you were escorted to your room. Uma and you found out that you two are roommates, which you don't mind. "So you and Ben are friends?" You look at Uma and nod. "Yeah. He's the only person that doesn't care that I'm adopted. He knows how much I can't stand being the center of attention." Uma looks at you. "Oh, I don't care." You shift your gaze to your things. "Oh." You unpack your things. A lot of it is frilly, pink or white outfits. "Great... I'm stuck with pink girly clothes. Maybe I can get new outfits." You mumble to yourself, but Uma seemed to hear you. "You can borrow some clothes of mine. If you want." You smile softly, but shake your head. "Thanks, but I'll get some new clothes. I need to figure out my own style anyways." Uma nods as she frowns at how princess-y the room looked. She started making it look more pirate-y to feel more at home, but she didn't bother asking how you'd like the room to look. You didn't mind it so much seeing that you're used to things going everyone else's way.
